In the town I come from they paint the cycle lanes red to hide the indiscretions of bus drivers, presumably that would remain too?

I don't see a problem with a ladies only lane, most men can only ride in the pink lane for a few minutes before rolling back over into there own lane anyway.

I suspect that the biggest obstacle with the pink zone is that if you try to use more than one, you'll lose access to both.
