IIRC, the lap after that was a 2:05.3, which makes me believe there's more to be had. The biggest obstacle's the understeer on exit, which forces a cautious, patient entry.

Feels like there's another second to gain.

Is that lap time with tire wear on and online ? My 1st split is at 55.8xx and 2:07.xxx lap time on 1st lap, I got slower on the next laps as the tire got chewed pretty quickly doing hot laps. Seems that my car settings is not right yet ..

Ah, almost like with the RX7TC series.

A shame the wear rate's the same for the two compounds, though.

I had an online practice race alone for 28+laps, running the same spec and rules but with real grip reduction, averaging 2:10.xxx for 8-9 laps with a bit less than quarter tire left using RH and 30 downforce. With this pace, I'm gonna be a back marker throughout the race.

Real grip reduction only changes the grip on wet surfaces and off track. (which I find to be over exaggerated)

I was wondering about ABS for a while, I had decided to join the race as the OP stated one of the rules with ABS OFF. I had been running with ABS off all along, my BB 9/7.
My average splits with RH - downforce at 30 :

56.xxx / 46.xxx / 26.xxx = 2.08.xxx

Still trying to look for that missing second in every sector, I guess my suspension tune needs more work and I need to find better entry/exit speeds.
