I got that setup used, I really just wanted the RSeat RS1 rig, but the guy didn't want to separate them if possible...

Trust me, i've been there... the taking the calculator to the grocery store (because we didn't have cell phones back then), putting $3 of gas in on Monday because I didn't get paid til Thursday and had $7 in my checking account. And the wife needed gas too. Trust me brother, been there.

Wife and I just celebrated our 30th anniversary yesterday - and we've worked hard for a long time...

But yes, it is a very pretty setup! :lol::lol: I like it muy macho!! :P

I ready for the pastin' coming on Thursday, it's taking a bit to get used to these Fanatec pedals.

And, fwiw... the Golf R thing was directed at Haz, used Golf R's are expensive - 'course, everything is anymore.

You think used Golf R's are expensive you should have seen the price tag for my new one. Got a good deal on it, but the raw sticker value was up there. However, have no regrets, the car makes sure of that every time I push the go-pedal.
 
I hear'ya man-dingo!! ;) That's why I put how expensive a used one is... the used one's are crazy high. Ain't like buying a used GTI. :lol::lol::lol:

I know you'll be enjoying it everyday - and jump on it hard at least once or twice a day, will help keep the carbon off your valves. Carbon build-up is a real thing with VW's direct injection engines (with all DI engines really) but you can prevent it happening early if you just drive it like you stole it every once in awhile. 👍

I've been throwing all my extra cash into the stock market lately made a nice 500 last week gonna try and repeat it this week by the end of the year I'll be big d I c k swinging like you and @Alex ONeill

Nah, I still like working. Let's just say I had some heart "issues" exactly 5 years ago and was off work for an extended period (almost a full month) and did NOT enjoy that at all. The first few days (in the hospital) was okay as I was trying to get better, but when we got home, after two days I was going stir crazy. Kept trying to go out in the garage and piddle with my van and what not - kept getting yelled at by my loving wife!! :lol:

Hopefully I'll die at work, or in the sack with my girl, you know, doing our taxes. :eek::eek: :sly:

Btw brother, just a teensy bit of advice (I know you didn't ask), if you hate going to work in your 20's-30's you need to do something else. Unless that was a general statement about work, in that case you need to sell drugs or rob banks. 👍
 
I didn’t know my buddy’s were going to randomly hit me up today. Got home a tad late. (Still 8 or 9 hours earlier than usual)
Watched stancypants stream for a bit, I could see some of the wet patches after the caution, in possibly the greatest places ever.
 
Great racing tonight guys!! Thought that was gonna be terrible, with the rain 'n all, but turned out to be quite the challenge and some good battles throughout the race. @Luckymouse71 had some serious pace in the 'Vette, but @SGETI got the better of him at the line...

Thanks again you guys for coming out - you all make it fun and challenging. Sorry @davidt33 that your wheel is still giving you fits, and @Mike Lobban we got to figure out what the hell is wrong with your pit crew!? Who'd you piss off? :odd: :lol::lol:

I'll get the points up tomorrow. :cheers:

I love watching back your stream Stance... it cracks me up, doing play by play, cracking jokes, talkin' to your car, coaching, etc., etc., you're so passionate about it - I love it, man!!
