Figured I would post this here... I got a new rig and wheel/pedal setup (Yea, Merry Christmas me
)
Old kicks: Ricmotech RS500 diy / Thrustmaster T300 w/F1 rim and T3PA pedals.
Shot with the 37" tv from when I first put it in the "man-cave"
Today, before I started the switha-roo - tv removed. You can see the F1 rim (which I really like).
And here is the GI-freaking-normous RSeat, up to 65" monitor stand ( I got a new Samsung 55" 4K UHD tv for it 👍 )
Ret to go ! ! !
Now that the picture show is over... I do have a quick ? for you guys that are running the Fanatec V3 pedals. After using them they are a very different animal than the T3PA's, question is, how do you adjust them? I was really struggling with them - I did get a bit better, but they seem inconsistent. Is there a trick to "setting" them up? I printed the manual off at work yesterday and read through it, but I don't see (other then "buying" upgrades) where there are adjustment points. Don't get me wrong, there aren't any for the T3PA's either, and after about an hour I was about a second off my quick lap in the Caddy GT3 at Spa (so that's good). I do like the wheel base and the throttle pedal, it doesn't feel like a toy. I'll probably end up ordering an F1 style rim for the CSL Elite base though, as the Thrustmaster Alcantara wheel is nicer than the standard CSL Elite rim...
I have setup two profiles in the wheel/base menu ( I like that a lot ), one for PCars 2 and one for F1 2019...
Anyhoo, any tips or tricks/advice would be appreciated... and thanks for looking, hope you all are having a good weekend!!
