Just want to remind the new guys, myself included of the Reverse grid process

Reverse Grid Procedure
    • On race 2, after the 10 min break, when the race starts we will run at a safe pace (around 62 mph 100 kph)
    • Either series director or one designated by the series directors will call off the grid order
    • Everyone is to get in position when your called, failure to do this will result in being placed in the back
    • We will run double file with pole being on drivers left 2nd on the right 3rd behind pole and so on
    • We will go green at the start but there will be no passing until turn 1. Passing before turn 1 will result in a 3 point loss. (Side by side into turn one is bound to be tight and have some battles, this is fine, the 3 point rule is to maintain a closer start and keep people from taking advantage of the rolling start)
    • Weaving will be allowed but remember this is all saved and if you take someone out you will be placed in the back and given a 3 point deduction.

mmm.... thanks to @SAMHAIN85 I might want to try this out for a bit to see what you guys are up to. When do you practice? How do I find the lobby. I'm kinda new on PS4. I'm currently in the SNAIL GT1 series too, but if I go tuning and semi endurance racing I can just as well switch over to the dark side.

We practice all the time.. We do have an "unofficial" practice on tuesday night.

The lobby will be private. You will need to put @Alex ONeill , @Zii1993 on your friends list. Also suggest adding the rest of the racers so we can invite you during informal nights.

@Lessen I believe is streaming the race live tonight.

Yes we are a tuning series. Many of us share our tunes and offer help at any time.

@Zii1993 Considering we now have a non-driving starter/steward, maybe this is something to be re-evaluated since there really is no advantage to anybody?

We have been race on as soon as we cross the start/finish line the last couple of seasons.

I'm ready to make switch, going to look at 4K tvs and PlayStation pro, but will have to wait for wheel this summer when I get bigger place. Anyone here semi competitive using controller. Read some scary stuff online. Cool to see a lot of familiar faces here.
Lessen is very competitive with it.

It seems to be hit or miss depending on the driver. Some people adapt and some people struggle (referencing DS3 users).

I think you and I always raced well alongside each other on the sticks in GT6 although you were generally faster. I will say that it took me some time to get used to it. The input is waaaay more sensitive than what you were used to in GT, but there is a lot of adjustment available for things like sensitivity and deadzones. The L2/R2 buttons are the most improved as far as being able to control throttle/brake depending how you like to map your controller. I hate the huge deadzone those triggers have in GT6 on a DS3. DS4 is a far superior controller and more comfortable for longer races like we have here.

@aerolite not going to make it, I just like practicing with you guys mostly so don't keep me in an active drivers list position unless you guys end up driving an open wheel car, wouldn't want someone to not be able to race because of me!

Here are the updated rules for reverse grid procedure. the OPR will be updated as soon as possible.

  • We will run double file with pole being on drivers choice 2nd on the side of first 3rd behind pole and so on
  • We will go green once the RTS calls it but there will be no passing until the start finish line. Passing before the start finish line will result in a 3 point loss. (Side by side into the last turn is bound to be tight and have some battles, this is fine, the 3 point rule is to maintain a closer start and keep people from taking advantage of the rolling start)

This is the procedure we have been using. I thought I had updated it when I added RTS maybe I messed up. Either way this is correct.

Everyone needs to have their liveries picked prior to Qualifying. Please get these in as quickly as possible.

Thank you
This is also a necessity. We are putting on a show. No need to look like unprofessionals here. Haha

Late breaking news, a new team has managed to meet all roadblocks. More info to follow.

I don't know jack about performance pc's. Fortunately I know a guy at work that is a hardcore pic gamer. When the time comes I'll be super glad I know somebody.

Jeez, that's a lot of money though. Yikes!

I click its there lol This is my first PC build I have done but when I was in high school I went to tech for electronics and I had some hands on experience with many devices. Just replaced the screen on my ladies iPhone 5 on Monday too.
