How about you keep it to yourself. I get it. It's not funny anymore. And if you can't keep it to yourself, make a private conversation with all your friends that like bashing me and enjoy it. I can take a joke but honestly just **** off at this point.
Car isn't that bad, but probably two stops. Those two decreasing radius 2nd gear turns are killer. I hear the tires screeching but I'm not sure if I'm okay or locking up. CrewChief will tell you if you're locking up a lot right? Can you change the threshold?
I usually stay quite on the forum when it comes to this sort of stuff, but DP, enough is enough. You keep doing the same thing over and over, mainly quitting and making negative comments on the forums. You will never gain any respect back this way! To us, your excuses are just you crying wolf. You come on the forums, wether here or the main, complain about what others like, get people's backs up, then just come back with a usual comment like "get over it and carry on". Then you either quit the night or don't even show up.
Yes, we have freedom of speech yadayada......but why not just keep your negativity to yourself. I don't like choices that are made sometimes, but what is the point of telling the person that, it's not going to change the outcome and a good deal of the time it turns out to be fun. For example, I dislike oval racing in real life and the first time it was chosen as a combo I was like, oh, this is gonna suck, but did I get on the forum and moan and complain, no, and I ended up thoroughly enjoying that race!
It looks like you quit again on Sunday, as Tom eludes to, yet you go on the forum and make a comment. You came in with us last night, we are ready to welcome you in and you leave, real excuse or not, it doesn't help your cause.
So why not stop with your constant type of postings, just post positive and creative ideas, which I know you can do as I have seen many good ones from you! And then show up, race the entire night and see what happens with people's feelings towards you. But you will have to do this for some time to come to gain the respect back that apparently you are looking for.
Our group here races and practices together a lot. We know each other well and tease the crap out of each other, how can you expect us to not be a bit hard on you in the situations you put us in. Ya, Lobban can get a bit tough on you, but for the most part it is harmless. We have tried very hard for well over a year and a half to try and set things right with you. How many conversations have I alone had with you. I have genuinely hoped that things would change but it really hasn't. If you are not willing to change, as your behaviour is the common denominator, then we would all prefer that you stay away. Sorry to say this but it's the truth. Please prove me wrong, and by that, I mean on the track, not getting into a whole back and forth battle here.
Regards, Steve
