Ask Penguin. LolWhat is the time progression?
Fine I'll just shut up. If I race I race. If I don't I don't. Nothing more. Nothing less. You've already said all there is to say so leave it at that. You don't have to like me. Hell I don't even like me most days. But if I'm in the mood to race I'll join. Deal with it.
How about you keep it to yourself. I get it. It's not funny anymore. And if you can't keep it to yourself, make a private conversation with all your friends that like bashing me and enjoy it. I can take a joke but honestly just **** off at this point.
Car isn't that bad, but probably two stops. Those two decreasing radius 2nd gear turns are killer. I hear the tires screeching but I'm not sure if I'm okay or locking up. CrewChief will tell you if you're locking up a lot right? Can you change the threshold?
I am practicing now if you want to work on itSo this whole braking issue... Should we put the brake balance more towards the front or rear? It sounds like they're always screeching at stock settings.
Thats understood and it was just practice but if you can't handle the race then don't start it.@Zii1993 Understood but c'mon man. Everyone's pain threshold is different. Obviously that guy has bigger balls than me. Not afraid to admit that. I looked this morning and half of my tooth is gone. And I don't have insurance right now...

Understood fallen. Hope it gets sorted. Took me awhile. Make sure you don't have anything dragging down your bandwidth. I did and didn't even realize it.If my Internet doesn't stable itself, I might not be racing tomorrow.
Most of the track is right turns that is why the left front tire is wearing quickerI found 70/100 works well. But the front left wears slightly quicker than the right. That's fixed with tire pressures right?
I totally forgot about brake pressure. I don't understand that, the game doesn't help. Are you controlling how hard the physical brakes are pressed based on how hard the brake pedal is pressed? so 100% would be 1:1? Lowering it would then make them less sensitive, so locking up wouldn't happen as much? Am I getting it?
Another thing that helped me speed wise not stability wise last night proved. Was to lower downforce for practice Then force yourself to practice 75% throttle on corner exits to maintain traction. Like t2-3 the right hander you should be off the brakes before turn in then line yourself up so left tires are lined up with rumble of t3 but there is a slight bump there so go 75% throttle hit the bump go to 90% as the car settles then go 100% for the straight.Yea, but aren't there things to counter that? Iunno.
@Zii1993 Holy crap what a difference! I have a thing for round numbers so I had to go 75% not 72% and lowered by balance from 70 to 65, even 60 works fine. Now I can press hard and not hear a single screech. Really gives confidence going into braking zones.
There's a Snetterton 300 setup and a Snetterton 200 setup, made by SGETI. @SGETI should I look at that or is it not really set up yet?
Sgeti's got a setup??? It will be a good one i'm sure.
So in general do this with all cars that don't have ABS?Yes, lowering the brake pressure lowers how much pressure is applied, less lock up with the pedal pressed the same amount. Yes you are getting it.
Just depends on the car, cars with lots of down force tend to not need the brake pressures turned down as much.So in general do this with all cars that don't have ABS?
What are you doing up so early Alex? It's like 4:15 thereJust depends on the car, cars with lots of down force tend to not need the brake pressures turned down as much.
