@Lessen has evolved to become part of the mythical master race:

That makes me smile. :)

Before I built this thing and started talking to another pc gamer at work I had no idea of the whole "master gamer vs. peasants" thing. I find it quite humorous and find much pleasure in running with it for laughs. 👍

Sorry for double post, but it is a bit of a different subject....

The SIM developers want to make the racing experience as realistic as possible by making it possible to tune your car, work out pit strategies and now PCars 2 will simulate the pit stop, etc. etc. In my opinion this is going further away from being realistic..... hear me out...

In real life you have a racing team of : The driver, the race engineer, the pit crew, the team manager, the mechanics and a bunch of other computer wizards that analyze the data. As a team they make recommendations to the driver and tell him what to do to go faster. The driver gives feedback on how the car performs and the team make a recommendation what to adjust. So, to be more realistic - the driver should be able to go out and do a few laps and then go into a menu to pick a few options of over steer, under steer, or whatever the car is doing... press enter and the mechanic tells him what to adjust. The more accurate information provided, the better the adjustments will be. The tire man can "inspect" the tires and tell him whether he should increase/decrease the pressure a bit and how many laps he can expect to get out of it. The gas man should tell him how much fuel he is using etc. etc. The rain man can tell him when he expect the rain to start and how long it will last - approximately with the same accuracy as you normal regular weather people.... just to screw with your mind a bit.

The way it works now is that the sim-racer is expected to know everything about everything and that is not realistic at all. Racing is a team sport.

I want to extend a thank you to everyone who participated this season. There was some good battles that took place all over the grid during these past 6 weeks. I was happy to see larger turnouts once again, and have fresh faces join us. Hopefully, we can continue to grow our driver base, which will allow @Alex ONeill and myself to try some ideas that we have been working on. These ideas will address the problems that KOQ presents, and will provide a solution to have an active league with Wednesday races containing more than 16 drivers. As always we will continue to ask for feedback and look for ways to continuously improve the league and quality of racing. Finally, congrats to @ONESPACE last night for a dominate performance at arguably one of the most difficult tracks we have raced at. Enjoy your week off, keep an eye out for the vote for next season's cars, and see you all on track soon!

Please explain how that happens. Is this that common core math? Something don't add up. Common sense would tell ya, you can't drop a race if you weren't even in the race. You would think that you drop points from the worst race you actually raced in.

Never mind this is to much of a joke.

Each drivers' season ending point total is equal to the sum of their best 5 races. There is nothing stated in the points structure policy that mandates that a drivers' dropped race must be one in which he/she competed in. The purpose of the drop is to allow drivers who may miss an event due to life circumstances, a fair opportunity to remain in the hunt for their respective points battles. If a driver only competes in 5 of the 6 events, that driver would only be scored his/her 5 races (the 5 highest weekly totals). If a driver only competes in 3 events, his/her total would be those 3 races plus, two zero points events. The drop is not intended to serve as a throw away race across the board. Drivers who are not able to make it to all 6 events miss out on the luxery of having a bad night tossed aside. That perk belongs only to those who compete in every event of the season.

Everyone is good to make their car choice and livery selections as well as team announcements.

The drivers placements have been updated.

We will be changing the points structure this season in order to be able to support more rooms as necessary.
