Did somebody in SMS read my post???

Project CARS 2’s Race Engineer Makes Tuning More User-Friendly

Sorry for double post, but it is a bit of a different subject....

The SIM developers want to make the racing experience as realistic as possible by making it possible to tune your car, work out pit strategies and now PCars 2 will simulate the pit stop, etc. etc. In my opinion this is going further away from being realistic..... hear me out...

In real life you have a racing team of : The driver, the race engineer, the pit crew, the team manager, the mechanics and a bunch of other computer wizards that analyze the data. As a team they make recommendations to the driver and tell him what to do to go faster. The driver gives feedback on how the car performs and the team make a recommendation what to adjust. So, to be more realistic - the driver should be able to go out and do a few laps and then go into a menu to pick a few options of over steer, under steer, or whatever the car is doing... press enter and the mechanic tells him what to adjust. The more accurate information provided, the better the adjustments will be. The tire man can "inspect" the tires and tell him whether he should increase/decrease the pressure a bit and how many laps he can expect to get out of it. The gas man should tell him how much fuel he is using etc. etc. The rain man can tell him when he expect the rain to start and how long it will last - approximately with the same accuracy as you normal regular weather people.... just to screw with your mind a bit.

The way it works now is that the sim-racer is expected to know everything about everything and that is not realistic at all. Racing is a team sport.

I haven't been on GTP for a few weeks and my account was deactivated...weird.
Anyway, Sunday afternoons in the summer will be tough. I'll try to get a car and practice some runs and will try to make it when I can though. Good luck this season to everyone competing!

And others ban you when you make an attempt to show up but don't follow through because of reasons outside of video games. Sorry, little salt left over hehe

Do you really want to open this can of worms? Most little children learn when they touch a hot stove and get burned they do not keep returning to touch the same stove. :embarrassed:

You have been banned from more than one league, not because of reasons outside video games , but directly related to your actions during the race. :banghead:

Good luck with the sale of your PS4, and your new beginning on Xbox. Time to move on.

Found this on another thread this morning, He should be thankful I just took my meds for my recent illness, B.O.B. , and was calm.

I'll be driving the #76 Zakspeed Ford Capri

Hey guys, a few of us were on Assetto Corsa last night having a blast. I gotta say, I love the car physics in that game, more than PCars really. How hard would a spec series be to set up on AC? I think most of us have the game and the season pass with all the cars. Now that Pits has moved to Sunday, Wednesday is now an open night with none of our friends series to compete with. I know I would be into joining a regular night of AC during the week. I have my hands full just keeping Aero away from my favorite sheep.

Looks like my Season is going to be shot. Traveling home tomorrow, so I will miss out.. Then I'm out of town for the next two weekends for sure. For the rest of August , I'm not sure. This retirement preparation is keeping me busy....

Since i dont have any dlc i have zero track time here but i'll be there running in the back per usual. Switched my ds4 settings to 0 deadzone and 0 sensitivity across the board and finally feel like i have a marginal sense of control over my car so i might be less of a train wreck going forward.
