So if I'm gonna get it it's gonna be in the next 45 mins. Any more reviews or thoughts before I drop the money on it? Cause I need new pedals soon and that $ could go towards that.
The driving is really good Z, it's just going to need some improvements in the online section. Like Lessen said, we have all probably wasted the value of this game on a lot worse things in the past!

Oh yeah, confirmerino.
I spend more money on meds in a week.. I think I am addicted..........to sims that is. WTF is the procedure for starting? The car will not go into gear till the green flag drops...... How is Aero gonna cheat at the start? I'm starting out using cockpit view, I just love that word ... COCKPIT. Can I get rid of the hands and steering wheel? Same old same old tracks with a few really difficult ones thrown in. Gonna take some time to get ised to the game. Should be interesting going back and forth between games......sorry, sims.

Really liking the feel of the car and track more now but the online sucks. It seems you can only filter a car or track and the game generates a few choices, at least that's all jax and I could decipher. For the life of me I can't figure out any other way, and no way of keeping the rifraf out either. If they can get eventually get private lobbies into the game then that would be so good!

So I'm picking up ac tonight. Was still kinda on the fence when my time frame to get it had come so I waited and just played some of the new DLC for fallout 4.

Oooo Fallout 4? Did they add more DLC scrap for you to find? hehe That game was such a let down for me. I really wanted a better Fallout 3 and they went nuts with the crafting and settlement stuff.

New stuff is new quests at an amusement park. And more settlements lol. But you should see what I've done with my vault settlement.

A few of us spent some time on AC last night in lobbies, they are a real pain. You can't choose car and track specific combo which is really lame, you have to filter a car, then AC seems to generate a few track choices for it. We ended up with the Ferrari 458GT2 at Mugello which was great however. Me and Jax got this combo before the others joined and we ended up racing in a full rm, both of us qualified near the front. By turn three the public room idiots had done their duty and destroyed our race. A bit later it was better with six SNAILS in the room and a couple of unknowns. Another weird thing is the race start, you can't put the car in gear until all the start lights go out.

I think for now, AC will mostly be fun for just driving in a different environment. This morning I tried Jim Clark's 1966 Lotus 49 at the 1966 full Monza circuit. With the gearing changed for higher speeds, this was good fun getting to drive both legendary car and track. Then I went to the Nordschleif with the RUF RT12R, turned TC and ABS off, and OMG, if you want a challenge give that a try. The tracks are definitely a big improvement and I really am getting to like the cars. Some are pretty easy to drive, but some are a great challenge.

Ran into some lag issues again last night but not until I had been on for quite awhile. I went into the house and reset the modem, then turned console back on and all was fine. I will do this just before we start tonight and hopefully there won't be an issue. If I see anyone lagging I will assume it is me and will leave the room immediately. I just talked to my service provider and I'm getting my DL speed bumped up to hopefully 15mbps from my current 5. This will not be able to happen until Monday though.

I picked up AC yesterday but never got a chance to load it up. Considering we can't do any private rooms yet in not in much of a hurry.

What's your upload?

I'm still dizzy from last night, wait till we do two races tonight. I still think PC is a better game, AC has not lived up to expectations for me. I do like the ffb, even though it's kinda set, physics are good, but not spectacular, not enough for me to change just for that. I was worried that after playing AC, my muscle memory would slow me down on PC, but, no issues there at all, easy transition back and forth. Same old blah blah tracks with a couple ofdifferent ones thrown in.

If you guys saved the reply from last night, check out the race me and Ausieman had for the whole race. Really intense, clean and why I race. It was the single best battle with one guy all race that I have ever had.

DP, you gonna make it tonight? I'm going through withdrawals, your recent posts have been a breath of fresh air. 👍 You can have any black color you want.

Although I'm not sure it will be needed I will open the KOQ room @ 8 est and anyone not in the top 10 will need to qualify. As of now we have 11 spots open so it shouldn't be a hard KOQ but it's best to start getting in the habit of it.

I just upped mine to 24mbs and had the tech out to test everything. Apparently i'm actually getting 30mbs now so I shouldn't have any issue now either.

As a somewhat frugal person I must say that AC will not be cluttering my collection. If it's useless to leagues and not clearly ahead of PCars in every way then why waste my money?

HAHAHAHA! I can't even custom map my DS4. Well, that was a waste of 5 minutes...

Guess AC will have to wait until they fix that or I get a rig.

Don't hold me to it...but I MAY be able to race tonight. Ginetta GT4 at Brands Indy?
Yes sir. I will send you an invite to KOQ just in case. And I know you're not a huge fan of tuning so other than pressures I would suggest the snetterton 300 tune in the project cars tuning database. Or maybe even as a base for the car. Just tryin to help in what little way I can. 👍

Do a test on your ps. That will tell you what it's getting cause my computer gets more speed than my ps4
Think mines fast enough
