Very glad to see that work continues. No suggestions on the deck lid fit..... With my luck I would take it all apart, beat the lid into submission until it fit, then find that the lid was right and the body wasn't, and now it won't go on the car!

Maybe the magnet is a good idea..... :-)

Really inspired by your model, Plan to get this kit and give the LED lights ago. I came across this on youtube its actually got a circuit diagram and the programme code. I Have zero knowledge in electrics and no ability to programme, it would be hard for me.

What I am interested is whether you actually going to incorporate the lights working from the dash inside the car or have a remote control based system like in the video.

Keep up the good work. Looks brill man.

The Real thing, The Dash looks very neat, would be amazing if you could actually get it too boot up.

I've seen that LFA video quite a while ago and respect for the guy managing to get that in to a 1:18. I find 1:8 a challenge. There are some lights I won't be adding like side indicators and possibly the doors. Just don't trust my skills enough to drill in to the metal body 4 times to put in the side indicators. The car itself if quite expensive and I don't know if you've had a look at the spare part prices but their astronomic. I'll be using a remote, unless my friend has worked out how to run it through wifi and a browser. Tbh, once the car is finished I might fire up the lights on occasion but not much moe than that.

I did some work on getting a rain light mod working on a 12v board with a POT using a A23 12v battery. I actually used salted water to act as a sensor in the end, so when contaminated water touched in around the airbox it would flash. Not a very good video I made, this was well before the finish product, .

Been paying attention to this thread for a while, and I must say that's amazing work and fantastic attention to detail, sir.
It's a bit scary every time when I think of how much progress you can make on such a huge model in ~half a year's time, while I have started working on my 1/24 Tamiya Aston DBS ~16 months ago, and I'm still at step 2. And I'm not doing any additional modifications. (Of course, I'm not working on it every day and every month, but still, it's a bit scary.)

Good luck with your model, and I look forward to the results. 👍

If they could somehow make it blow out every time it revved up instead of the wicker smoke like effect it has, that'd be cool but it's somewhat neat.

Here are some pics at 99% finish. Missing 2 side decals and all the lights need to be connected.
Bit of panel gaps here and there and a stubborn engine lid.

Need to make some serious room (it takes up 5x 1:18s) in one of my display cabinets.

I hate to be the one to mention it but isn't your rear plate a little wonky? The one with Aventadore on it.

I feel the need to offer a round of applauds even though you clearly won't hear me. What a most awesome effort and wonderful result. Thanks so much for sharing this.

I totally agree(good eye on the plate). I realize the word is overused, but it really looks amazing. 👍

@W3HS It could be I'll need to check :) There's more wonky about this model that bug me a bit and can't fix.:( Still a nice model though. :)

Looks fantastic you should take some pics with low level ambient light and with the led's on. Im sure the engine cover can be fixed with a bit of persuasion ..

It really does look spectacular. I wish I had that sort of patience and free time.

Hi,
I have a problem with my Pocher Aventador,
I can't get the doors to stay closed?
Any solution would be greatly appreciated,
Regards,
Alex

Pocher doesn't have any models available yet according to a shop in the Netherlands.

Are there other 1:8 model kits?

Pocher's official UK site shows out of stock on all three kits they currently show, but have a summer 2020 expected arrival for the Ducati 1/4-scale. There seem to be plenty of new kits for the the Lamborghinis on eBay.

Hi guys,
I have also built the same Aventador,
I also painted the seats orange,
I thought about the seat stitching, I bought an orange, white board marking pen,
you just rub the marking pen over the stitch, the stitch fills with orange ink,
You immediately wipe off the excess with a tissue,
Job done, really easy,
Hope this helps you,
Regards,
Alex

I would actually want a Pocher. But a Porsche and not a Lambo.
Hadn't realised people were actually posting in this old thread again, probably because I haven't been on GTP in ages.
Kikie - a few pages back there's a pic of the Porsche 993 together with a 1:18 scale. That Pocher model was from the 1990's. With a lot of luck you might find a 2nd hand one on e.g. "evil-bay". The one they had then has a plastic outer shell, they for some reason ditched metal.

I have the 1:4 Ducati but need to find the time to build it, perhaps coming winter. Nowadays to busy golfing (as I'm retired).
