But more: they are a Great band.

I like Steppenwolf,they're good,but I can't go as far to say that they belong in the HoF.They had some pretty good stuff,but nothing that was really over the top.

I thought Steppenwolf only made a few songs until one of the members died, that I thought was the lead singer. But, I guess I heard from somebody who was wrong and believed for years.

Since I know better, there has been a great amount of member sessions.

Funny thing is, I never really knew this band but I still remember the "Born To Be Wild" song from several movies I've watched.
A great band none the less, but I think its not quite up to HoF material. Who knows...

Great material from the golden age of rock. Certainly they belong in the HOF.

EDIT: Why is the Troggs' Wild Thing in the first post? Not the same band at all.

...but Steppenwolf didn't do Wild Thiing (that I know of), the Troggs did.
