Bob does my endurance races which are longer then 3 hours.
And he does them solo now, I did Grand Valley, Laguna Seca and Indy 500, alone, so he must do that also.

He is, as we speak, doing the Suzuka 1000km, in the FGT.
Bob is now a Fire and forget Missile, going for an easy kill.

I love you, Bob. 👍

The reason why i play B-spec is that i want to complete the game 100% - and you cant avoid it if you want to reach 100% completion....

I've a 4 month old son so in the evenings when he's awake I can still earn credits and xp while all I need to to do is check every few minutes and maybe press a button or two. Not easy to race with a baby on your lap grabbing the wheel!!

I can relate to that one, although it's a 3 year old wanting to race her pink Honda leaf blower, I mean, Honda Fit instead of grabbing at the controller.

B-Spec is fun for her too. She knows all the team racer's names by the color of their helmet and she likes to pick which will go in a specific race. Then she will ask to watch Tommy Thompson (T. Thompson) or Bob Barker (B. Barker), her two current favorite of the team. She really likes it when it's a car that you can see the driver in. It's fun for all.

I was sold on B Spec when I won a Toyota 7 Race car that I desperately needed to win an A Spec race.

Cash and cars, and I only watch the race if it seems he needs help. Sometimes he's ok to leave alone, others he needs instructions every 1/2 lap.

Sometimes the drivers seem faster than I am. Its instructive to watch and see how they drive. It seems I at least get to know 'see it can be done' (Mostly with the confounded FGT car)

Well, I'm doing it cuz...if I don't, I'll feel like I'm only getting 33% out of the game. Here's my break down as to where I got that number...

A-spec=33.3%
B-spec=33.3%
Online= 33.3%

And that's why I'm doing b-spec, at least til I get my ps3 wired.

I play B-Spec because my wife won't let me hog the TV when she's home.

She thinks the game is all AI driving and complains that it's "can't be a fun game at all since you never race your cars. They just drive in circles on their own."

While I'm in here checking the forums before bed, I got 3 Bob's running the 24hr Circuit de la Sarthe for the first time.

I mainly play it as a way to get more game completion, money and cars while I go do chores or do homework, haha!

Before the remote races event I play bspec just to complete the game, for the prize cars and usually I didn't watch, but now sometime I like to watch some remote races, are very fun to watch, you can see hard fights between drivers and spot which drivers are fast and who is slow, four-five levels more sometime are not enough.

Because you can get prize cars and money, I guess. But also because I want an x2010. That challenge is impossible with a DS3, I actually spent about 10 times trying to get out of the pits >_<

It's a combination of things for me. Free credits and some nice prize cars (like the Furai) got me started. Now, it's mostly free credits. Often I leave the B-spec races playing on the TV while I'm playing w/ my 2-year old son. He & I both seem to like having the "fast race cars" in the background while we play cars or trains or whatever. Also, it's kinda nice to have my Bobs run the endurance events, since I know I'll never have the free time to do those myself!

WHS! My 21 mth old son loves the "telly cars" whilst we're playing around with real cars on the floor! :)

I wanted an X2010 and started B-Spec racing when I read online that it would be given at B-Spec level 35.

When I had reached level 19 I got sick of pressing X and automated it. Video shows 10x race speed but illustrates how oil changes and auto saves are done automatically as well as running races. :)

I have only done B spec since there are cars and cash to win. If there wasn't cars and cash I would never venture in B spec at all. The X2010 at level 35 doesn't hurt. Not sure if I'm going to go for level 40.

I want to have more of a sense of completion of the game, even thought I will almost surely never reach 100%, it's a great way to build up credits, for a few prize cars, and that I only have a few more A-Spec events that I can reasonably do (the Formula Gran Turismo Championship and a few A-Spec endurance that don't last for twenty four hours (I might do the nine hour Tsukuba event, since I heard with a Redbull, you can go to lap 550-ish and still win the race, but I'm only willing to do endurance races on the weekend).

Watching Bobs is more fun than anything you can find to watch on TV, unless by some miracle there is real racing on TV. Even the speciality cable channels now are filled with crappy reality shows, it's so depressing.

I voted "other".

There were specific cars that I was looking for at the time. I had maxed out on events I could do in A-spec. Basically stopped at the enduros. But still needed a DTM car and a JGTC (specifically the 190 and the FTO). So I started running B spec races. Once both cars came up, I had accrued so much money and was just buying used cars like crazy to fill out my collection. I was at level 29 or 30. Enjoyed the challenge of beating the historic in B spec. For all of the races, I watched and coached. Once I got to the enduros I said well... I got this far. And started doing them.

Finally I got to a point where I would need to repeat the enduros to get the the next one. But I was like lvl 33. SO I said, well... the x1 is right around the corner. Just before I hit 35, remote racing was launched. Now I'm one race away from having all B-spec golds. Just hit 39 a little while ago.

Several reasons...

- To get as many PSN trophies as possible for the game
- To get an X2010
- I have a young daughter and do not get the chance to sit there playing for hours on end, so Bob completes those races that are too long for me to race myself, especially endurance ones.
- For Bob to complete the races I'm too rubbish to win myself.
- To earn enough credits to "fill my garage with 1000 cars"

Like so many others on here I simply "play" B Spec for the credits and cars. The only time I watch a race is when I'm waiting for a race to finish before I kick off the next one. There is little or no enjoyment for me in watching the races.

up untill yesterday i was only level 2 in B as ive been playing A(lvl 29) and the seasonal events, but after reading on here about the endurance races, i figured ive done the 2 low levels on A and cant be bothered with the others, so once i get there im going to let bobby boi do them for me...

but also getting decent earnings from the other races without putting in the work, so soon i should finally have enough for my first race car  which is what i really need for A, but cant be bothered to keep grinding...
