Hes probably finalizing all of the license deals. :P I voted for day one patch, cuz you know they are working on it, and "removing content" Made me laugh. :D

Just curious, in the last couple weeks, how many new threads have you created? Seems I see a new one at least every day.
They're all more or less about his dissatisfaction with anything and everything GT6 as well.

British member espousing Freedom of Speech on a privately-held American forum. Oh boy.

I voted for everything, because seriously... what? What are my thoughts on him doing his job? I guess if I really had to choose an emotion, it would be "literally angry with rage;" because why not.

God bless America - Amen.

This isn't EA, T10, or Activision, so I doubt it.
No it's PD so they could be doing anything . Being serious though I think he was polishing the game as much as he can before the day 1 patch and like others the game is probably ready to go or at least very nearly ready to go.

Voted-Other.
He's The boss man. He'll most likely been in a meeting (about removing content :dopey:) or will be making sure everyone is doing there job at PD in order produce an end product. I can see him making most of the final decisions for the direction of the game, but can't see him getting hands on with patches etc.

I really don't see any QC or QA if there was then a first day patch wouldn't exist.
Have you ever been a part of a software release? It's a known fact that errors become apparent only after the final check - an adage that has evolved out of the publishing industry's experience with proof-reading: ie - try as hard as you like to check for all errors, a surprise or two still manages to get through.

Tough one but I was optimistic and said polish. I can just as easily say patch or removing content that the probably can't squeeze in before the disk goes gold.

If you read my following comment you'd fully understood what I was getting at but I only can assume you didn't since you quoted this one. Also QC and QA doesn't change because it's a game/software.

Wow, we sure do love our polls don't we? For every arbitrary question we've had a poll it seems.
I was thinking that same thing lately. I was hoping for a few more clever or maybe even whimsical choices.

-Kaz is working on his movie

-Kaz is thinking if he should charge for a DLC on the same day he releases a new title

-Kaz is home playing Forza

They should be working on B-Spec, course maker, GPS thingy, etc etc. It says on the website that these things will come in a update after release.

Yup, I saw your other post - mine however was refering to the observation that QA testing rarely finds all bugs or glitches, no matter how thorough the QA team is - bugs always seem to get through undetected, and that applies to software of all kinds as well as any document being prepared for dissemination - try it and see :)

Well that's quite funny because in my post I did make note of that. However, the problem with your analysis of QA/QC is that they are only doing day 1 patches relative to bugs or glitches, but there are probably cars and features that will also be worked in. Also we might get away with saying that due to what was conducted with GT5 and the fact that future features will be rolled out as later patches.

I never said the QA team was good enough to catch all, that'd be the greatest QA/QC team in the history of industry. I know quite well that bugs get through and have worked with enough computer systems guys and systems engineers, thanks though I guess.

@PDD-Nox as far as the Deltawing goes there is some legal hurdles to jump for that due to the history of who owned this and that of the concept. So PD's hands are tied and the loss of it isn't their fault.
