That strawberry pizza looks :ill:

But I'm gonna defend pineapples. Pineapples are just perfect when it comes to sweet and sour dishes. They go really well with chicken, it's kinda like how honey is good with mustard or meats.

Other fruits on pizza though? Hell no.

Plain Jane, or margarita as I normally call it as its the only decent vegetarian one I've encountered.

I heard a while ago that the topping was named and created by a local Baker in honour of an Italian princess or queen who was visiting a particular region of Italy (possibly Napoli?). The white mozzarella, red tomatoes and green herbs represented the Italian flag. The story goes that pizza in some form already existed before this. I never looked into whether or not the story was true.

Edit:
It looks like it's a well known story but not a true one.

After my question I looked it up and found the same story, which I believed to be true. Seems that it wasn't. Thanks for letting me know.

I really want to try those deep fried pizzas they do in Scotland, I don't think I will like it but I want to try it.

Pepperoni, Sausage, and Salami (and sometimes bacon if there isn't a lot of fat!) is my ideal combination on a thin crusted pizza with extra cheese.

Pineapple lovers get out please

If I'm eating out it's usually Hawaiian style, most often with added blue cheese and perhaps shrimps. If making pizza at home it's likely to be pepperoni, paprika (isn't that word used in English too?) and red onion. With a thin crust in both cases, probably falling into the New York style category.

The word is used very widely to reference the spice derived from dried peppers; that's the primary English use. It's used less widely to reference the fresh peppers.

Anyone tried gummy pizza?

It isn’t bad but I wouldn’t want to eat more than 1. It’s junk.

For lunch I'm going to have a pizza again. A pizza Margherita, which is my favourite.
