Wow ,so far only one wheel user,it figures, this game is made for the pad it seems..
Indeed, this is more likely a reason.Or it could be that people are refusing to buy Thrustmaster wheels as they are the only compatible wheels for the game, particularly if said people are owners of legacy wheels.
I love using a steering wheel but unlike a lot of people I can't justify spending the cash that Thrustmaster want from us(for a high quality wheel, I don't doubt but still).Wow ,so far only one wheel user,it figures, this game is made for the pad it seems..

I have a DFGT that isn't compatible with the PS4 which is a shame so I use my DS4.
The T300rs is worth the money and great.Or it could be that people are refusing to buy Thrustmaster wheels as they are the only compatible wheels for the game, particularly if said people are owners of legacy wheels.
Well, that's a matter of opinion, surely.Straight up the pad sucks, ill never go back to that. .
The poll says more pad users than wheel..I think you'll find that most actually use a wheel, that was my impression during the past five months - nor is it a case of preferences really, as there are various factors at play, already broached on this thread.
I'm curious however why you seem so intent on attempting to prove that the game is more controller friendly?
Ahh, the poll...there wasn't actually one there for the first day, until Scaff added it - so maybe you don't have a fully definitive snapshot. Never mind though, like I said, I was more curious about the why, not the what. The poll says more pad users than wheel..
Most simcade if not all are programmed for the pad over the wheel, because not everyone has a wheel,i cant even play using a pad anymore, but i do know the top players of driveclub use a pad, because i asked them.Ahh, the poll...there wasn't actually one there for the first day, until Scaff added it - so maybe you don't have a fully definitive snapshot. But i do know the top players of driveclub use a pad, because i asked them.
That is longer than I've been alive so I assume you are more experienced than me. Anyway I am mainly wheel player but for this game I have gone back to pad. I prefer the feeling compared to the T300. I am actually surprised by number of wheel users being that high in this poll, I think it will be much higher pad users compared to wheel users like most console racing games if you take all players into account.Well, ive been a real Sim racer for over 25 years now and once you get a wheel, you will never go back,i take it very seriously as im sure many ppl on this site do and understand what im talking about.Play with a pad is like playing with a toy in chace view, not sim,not real, but from this poll it seem to be all of you play with ds4s ,but if that what you prefer,so be it,peace aka Snake OilerX
I consider myself quite average using pad in racing games but on this game for example, I did an event today, managed to get top spot with over 500 people in it and some of the competition having over 75 times more fame points than me. This game rewards having good racing lines and maintaining as much traction as you can like simulation games or real life in order to go fast.Im not,im only 2 to 3 seconds slower with my T300rs now,the pad is so twitchy, cant ever go back to a pad ever again..
There is nothing stopping people doing really a fast time with wheel though, seen some top times being done with them in this game. Most simcade if not all are programmed for the pad over the wheel, because not everyone has a wheel,i cant even play using a pad anymore, but i do know the top players of driveclub use a pad, because i asked them.
