Okay, so, now that most of us have had a little bit of time with the game, we'll have most likely discovered what our favourite event is.

For me, nothing beats rallying. It's a lot of fun, and it's probably the discipline that I can run comfortably with a high AI setting. Outside that, Rallycross is great, too - but it's so tense that I hurt my hands if I play it for too long. I did the World Tour events in Aspen late last night and my hands ached by the end of it. I also really enjoy gymkhana, but I need to get better at it before it becomes a favourite. I still can't execute donuts regularly, and I have to do them from a standing start.

Conversely, I don't like Trailblazer. I love that we have high-powered cars, and I love that we have long, open stages - but no pace notes? Even with the difficulty set to one, I was tip-toeing around that ultra-long Michigan stage to the extent that I finished seventh, twelve seconds off the pace.

#1 Rally #2 Gymkhana

The only thing I DON'T like about this game is the moment when one of the commentator says "Yo, amigo. Post that footage on YouTube. IT ROCKS!" After about the 5th time this gets pretty annoying.

Yeah, that's Christian. The internet agrees that he's a wanker who tries way too hard to sound cool. There's no other way to describe him.

Rally is my fav but I do like the other events that get thrust upon you. Landrush was great and wasn't expecting to like it. I was like meh when I saw these trucks but really liked getting those vehicles around on the slippy smelter. The physics, traction and surfaces in the game make it fun for me. Yeah its Arcade but Codies have done a good job. Love the snow surface.

I'm not too big on Landrush at the moment. It's a little bit too chaotic for my tastes. I was doing a buggy race in Aspen yesterday, and the first lap involved me accidentally pitching another driver into a roll halfway through the first lap. I was then forced to do the entire race missing my left-front wheel and with my right-front threatening to go UA as well. I still managed to win it, but only because I managed to build up a massive lead at the beginning by being stupidly brave into some of the corners.

Also, when you're missing a front wheel, the car turns on a dime. My left-front was gone, but I was quickest through left-handers.

You can lose tires!? This brings a whole new aspect to rally...plus it's pretty awesome winning with 3 wheels :D

Three wheels?

It was more like two and a half. Or maybe one and a half would be a better description, because the tyre that was gone did more than the one that was in danger of coming off.

1. Trailblazer
2. Gymkhana
3. Rally
4. Rallycross
5. Raid
6. Landrush

Landrush is boooring, Rally, Gymkhana and Trailblazer are awesome!

Rally is by far my favorite, followed by Trailblazer. My least favorite has to go to Gymkhana, I despise having to do those events in order to complete a season. I find absolutely no enjoyment from the Gymkhana events.

I've found gymkhana gets better as your ability to control the car does. Try doing the Battersea Compound and carry out the missions - they'll make you better.

It's not that I can't do the events (I've got Platinum medals in most of the ones I've done) I just can't get into them for some reason. I'm not entirely sure what it is but the more Gymkhana events I do, the more I dislike them.

I'll wait until I get my T500RS to make my final impressions though. 👍

Definitely Rally, no doubt about it. Rallycross would be my second favourite event, followed by Trailblazer, Raid, Gymkhana and Landrush. I'm not really a fan of Gymkhana at the moment, but doing the missions in the Battersea Compound is fun.
