6pm would be better but don't change it because of me unless everyone else would prefer it at 6pm. I appreciate what you are doing though.

Edit. It is the same time as ASRA so I won't make 6 if I qualify. Keep the times the same if you wish as I might as well stay up for the Ginettas if i'm already up because of ASRA.

Crap I forgot about the ASRA GP Monaco, I'm in that too lol. Maybe I'll just keep it at 9pm.

CAPE RING FULL COURSE 25 LAPS (maybe 15 laps because these laps are under 3 min approx 2:45 & at 25 laps thats over 1 hour but at 15 laps its under 45 min)

Thanks for the update.

I've done a 20 lap "short" enduro in a Ford vs Holden on Cape Ring. Depending on tyre choice means pitting in on lap 8/9 or 12/13. Either way 25 will require 2 pit stops and 15 at least one, don't forget fuel as well.

Lap times were 2:50's-2:60's best mid 2:43.

I cannot make prior G4 Support category as i'm already committed to our Sunday morning clan (10am til noon) GT5 Race meet - incidentally a RUF Cup round as well ;)

We guys of WSCC wish you good luck with your event. I don't know yet whether I will be free next saturday, but if yes, I'll let you know.

Hey turbo.

This event (as noted in your post) has been moved to Saturday US CST of 9:00pm. So for me that's 12:00 (noon) Sunday :)

PS see you 5:15am Wed Jun 15 - my time for Pre-season testing ;)
 
Turbogeit - thanks for your interest n I hope you can make it. I'll have Room # posted here on race day. And for WSCC, I cant make that because I'm still at work. But I wish i coukd make it :(
 
Couple of questions

1. Can we use power limiter and Ballast? Right now Tier and I are at spec but U said you might change to 453hp and 1200kg

2. No aids, does this incluse ABS. Most usually race with ABS at 1 'cause no controller or wheel for that matter has any feel of when the brakes lock up.

Yeah, I love the challenge of taming this car. We race against Z06's, F430's, and Ford GT's mostly and Tier did a good job of specking each car for even performance. The RUF is down on power but the corners and especially braking is where it's advantages are. Once you learn how to drive it, not easy. It's also very sensitive to set-up changes on different tracks.
 
I think we will run 453hp, so Power limiter is allowed. And I believe I have mine set at 98% with a few tuning parts off. Last time I drove this I added ballast to 1200kg and it kept my wheels on the ground. Lap times were also in the 2:50's. So I like the idea of 453hp 1200kg. And for no aids: no driving line, no tcs, no active steering, no skid recovery. ABS is allowed and prefered to be at 1. And race will stay at 9pm cdt this Saturday.

I'll talk to (Tier 2 Racing) tommorrow night if he doesn't answer the thread and maybe we can get another person to follow along with us. I'll be there and I'm pretty sure he will be. I pm'ed him about it and he pm'ed me back but i don't want to speak for somebody else.

Will open at 8:30 pm cdt and G4 cup at 8:45 till approx. 9:15. Then there will be a 10 min tuning/practice/break.

And Carrera cup will commence at approx. 9:25pm cdt. But please make it in lobby by no later than 9:15pm cdt.

^ Are you positive that's 4WD? Because I'm pretty sure it's not. And since we are using RUF cars I don't think anyone is really going to nail this emulation my man. I think the closest your going to get is this thread or any other porsche thread that is using this car for a gt3 cup/carrera cup. R u sure its 4WD? And what car do you think we should have used? 💡
 
Don't think Tier is gonna be able to make it. He said he's not gonna make the GT3 race tonight, so don't know. I'm gonna try to see if the other guy we race with will do this race instead. I'ts still at 9pm cdt right?

The Porsche Carrerra Cup is a one make series, based solely on the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Type 997 450 bhp 1250 kg - dependant on year. The GT3 Cup Type 996 was in production from 2000-2004 and the RGT is the only model available on GT5. The RGT is based on the GT3 Cup Type 996 2000 model.

My lounge will be open in 10min (8:15pm cdt) we will race ginetta g4 30 laps (8:45pm cdt start) at London and that should be over at 9:15. Carrera Cup will begin 10min late at 9:25pm cdt!!!!
 
I guess no one wanted to do a g4 cup lol....well im open for carrera cup now, will post new room in a few - - -Edit in same room as noted above
