Possible 'confirmation' of NFS Underground 3?

Yes. Even the NFS:U2 - which is older than MW, by the way - has a more in-depth tuning (ex. adjust the gears, ECU tune, etc.), it still doesn't beat the MW quick tunning option.

Ok.
I never used tuning in U2 so I completely forgot about it.

The way I see it, a new Need For Speed would probably aim at the stance/drift crowd. No Limits could very well be a taste of things to come.

NFS UG2 tuning was awesome. I spent hours tweaking the ECU settings and testing them out on the test track (which IIRC has the same 1st and 2nd corner combination as Sepang Circuit).

Honestly I'm not too fussed if they never make another Underground. We've got The Crew for customization and free roaming. I want them to just focus on exotics racing through wide open roads and actually make a decent, functioning and fun game. It's a shame Criterion has left the racing scene completely (no, renaming yourself to Ghost games doesn't count), so any future titles are unlikely to be a day 1 buy from me.

When will No Limits be out exactly? I've checked the AppStore a bunch of times

any future EA Games games I wait for reviews, and The Crew is great and all but it doesn't look as good as I think NFS will. Physics aren't great either

That's pretty much what I had done with every NFS release that's not by Criterion. I agree as well with The Crew not being great, especially in the physics department (but then again, NFS hasn't been great in that department since Undercover). The main thing The Crew lacks IMO is sense of speed, which the NFS series has always been VERY good at, no matter how crappy everything else in the game is.

Yeah, SOS is the best part of Rivals IMO

If they use the physics from Rivals again, i'll say goodbye to the NFS franchise forever.
This just in, Need For Speed Underground 3 has been confirmed by Ghost Games and U3 will use the same physics as Need For Speed Rivals. I'm just kidding.

NFS Rivals was meh... I loved it when they added the XJ220 as DLC which is another favorite hyper-car of mines and when they brought back Ferraris but trying to escape the police was literally bs. And the voice acting... Why does everyone sound kinda like robots talking?

And also at random times, the controls will stop responding like what the *beep* EA this is bull*beep* just *beep*ing fix the unresponsive controls bug before you make me mentally insane. :banghead:

I wonder how such a issue this brutal could ever exist.

Also while at it, make sure to write a letter to EA about how bad they screwed up NFS for you. :P

Adding interesting cars still doesn't make the game any more interesting for me if the controls are annoying hahaha.

Using the Frostbite engine itself was a big mistake. It was pretty but the gameplay was filled with silly bugs and problems.

It was basically NFS world with only muscle and classic cars, without power like ram or the other stuff that you used for police pursuits.
And during the final days of Motor City Online, they added the Mitsubishi eclipse and I think the R34 but I can't remember.

The game still could of been good with the Frostbite engine. The graphics are good though. All they needed to do was to fix the bugs.

Thirded. All my favorite NFS games are PS2 era and earlier.
Fourthed. Underground 1 and 2. Underground 2 had such a long career, which is one of my favorite things about it.
And the main things that kept me going on mw 2012 was car list and online challenges

I'm not sure what NFS 2015 is going to be like. All I can think is it'll probably be yet another Burnout game with NFS's name slapped on to the case. Seriously they mind as well make NFS U3 because them trying to bring NFS back to its roots is just a fail attempt. Getting really tired of with the whole crashes, takedowns, pursuit tech etc. enough of that stuff, time for proper racing.

They better NOT make you pay for gas and repair kits though. :P

How does it not count? There are literally more ex-Criterion staff at Ghost UK than there are Criterion staff at Criterion.

True, but most of the key Criterion people (aka those people who make creative decisions and not just modellers/programmers etc) are still at Criterion. So in effect, the "core" of what makes Criterion is not present in Ghost games. And it shows in NFS Rivals: the game doesn't have the same feeling of fun or polish as previous Criterion games (Burnout Paradise, NFS HP 2010, NFS MW 2012).

You can imagine Polyphony wouldn't be Polyphony if Kaz is not at the helm, even though all of the other staff members are the same. Same thing here.

I think it's the Supra.

So then I wasn't going crazy NFS MW(2012) actually was bad it wasn't bad as in crappy just bad as in mishandled it's still a playable game, but it's not going to be a game I'd play again if I beat it.

NFS has a strange history to me the fall didn't begin until after Most Wanted 2005 with the Carbon game and the only game between that game and up until now that even remotely gave me some hope was Hot Pursuit 2010 which to me was like replaying Hot Pursuit 3(PS1) Long time ago except no Gold Lambo's.

Most Wanted 2012 AS A GAME was good. AS A NFSMW REBOOT it was the worst they coulda done,
