that montecarlo is nice man... though i suspect its auto right? :/
don't worry about old-ness my car is an '88 so its not far off ;)

Yeah auto but i'm looking into putting a standard into it(more fun:mischievous: ) i also want to get either a 400 small block 383 stroker or cuz i want an ss maybe go 454 big block.. i'm also looking at getting my friend's 88 SS its an all original car and was once used for a police interceptor.. still has the badge on the back.. i really like it.. but yeah i figure go big or go home hehehehe:lol: :mischievous: You have the omega?

Okay I have to ask you all something else too.. how many of you paid for your car on your own.. no parents no friends buying it just you.. how many of you paid on your own?:irked:

here is the reason i ask... every guy that you see driving an import or brand spankin new car here had mommy and daddy buy it for them.. seriously... some were my friends. I had a minimum wage job to get my monte carlo.. and I get bugged cuz the paint isn't perfect yet or that i have to save for a new engine or something and now i have to walk everywhere and you know who laughs at me the guys that didn't pay.. and that pisses me off:mad:

Here's my baby. I bought it from a coworker, and every cent is mine (except for what still belongs to the bank ;) ).

We had fun at NHIS this weekend. :D

Here's a closer shot. Notice the streaks of brake pad left on the rotor. Also, there is quite a bit of brake dust still on the wheel. I wish I had a photo just after my first run - the front wheels were almost black! I used to have center caps, too...I guess they don't stand up to hard cornering well.

A closer shot of the tire. Notice the glob of rubber I picked up - the tire was hot enough to do that!

yeah i have an omega, but its a vauxhall/opel not an amiercan/aussie car. and its not really mine, my parents. my first car wasn't bought by me but it still isn't brilliant, and i dont spend money on any kinds of mods, im just saving up so i can buy my own baby myself. its so much more satisfying to know that its entirely yours and you didnt have to rely on anyone else to get it.

im not going to knock people who have cars that were bought by their parents, cause i'd love to have that too, but dont be dissappointed if you have to work for yours. the benefits of that are just as good as having a better car. well in my opinion anyway. and if you get to work on it like ur thinking of then that'll make u a pro, which id value more than any car.

hell, might as well throw mine up here:

it's a 1991 toyota supra turbo.. 3.0L inline6, pushing about 11 psi on the stock ct-26 turbo... i'm sitting just shy of 300hp at the wheels...

bodymods: 9 piece widebody kit imported from japan, 18" enkei cdr-9 wheels, brembo slotted/drilled rotors, f/b/s/s air cylinders with a viair 450 compressor, custom yellow paint matched to leather interior...

interior: completelly rewrapped seats in black/yellow leather, jet black carpet, rewrapped dash, center console, door panels, headliner, rear headliner, rear pilars, rear side panels, and visors all in black vinyl with yellow stitching... basicallly everything that was gray is now black...

engine: shimmed wastegate, turboxs type-h rfl bov, 3" exhaust to dragunfire turbo muffler, k&n cold air intake...

thats a friend of mine... same car, just his is basically stock... :) ... and no, the roads around here suck... i usually cruise with the air cylinders all the way full... or just shy of full so i dont put stress on the frame when i hit bumps... it can go from sitting on the ground, to about 6" of clearance....

i bought $70 worth of spray cans and painted my whole car with them ;) though i didnt sand down the old paint and it was vaguelly the same colour as before so i didnt have to spray the interior, but a good cost effective option ;)
