F1 race was tough, once you lost the slipstream I had no chance. Got up to 6th once doing it properly but then no getting closer. I was running low drag, higher top speed, race softs.

Ended up getting it on hard mode by wall riding turn 2 every time. Even then I only made it on the last lap by half a second

Ouch!

I think you can gain around .7s a lap, give or take a tenth

@Famine I have to ask: How on earth are you getting those screens without the cursor on any of the races? Been driving me nuts trying to do that myself.

Ok, that's actually clever. It's already what I do with my Weekly Challenges Guide Thumbnails so just need to cheat more for the screen in the video itself

Exit speed is about 10mph faster than the ai cars, and it doesn't wear your front right tire, so works well

First time in weekly event to finish so much away .... last!!!!

Race 1 - Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione '91 - little faster then AI, just to be able to catch first place

Race 2 - LC500 '17 - again, not walk in the park, but fast enough to be first.

Race 3 - Murcielago LP 640 '09 - love Murci from original Race Driver: GRID. On SH, I only made it to second position.

You can also just keep the throttle pinned whilst braking sharply but briefly between the two red outside armco markers. You don't clip the wall but you still carry i little more exit speed than the NPC cars. Think of it as anti-lag.

To win i ended up reducing the difficulty down to easy but that ended up too easy and was leading by the start of the third lap. If i get chance i may try it on normal level too, see if that's more of a challenge.
