But everything I own has been accomplished by me and my wife. My family hasnt ever given me any of these things. When I turned 19 I bought my evo brand new in 2003. I have got everything I have thru hardwork and dedication:sly:

O btw the RX7 is going to be an LS1 swap car;)

Washed and Waxed. Decided to snap a pic. It has been lowered a bit more since I posted last time. Next on the to-do-list are spacers

You bought a brand new Evo at age 19, working hard or not, too much money.:sly: Plus an LS1 swap on top of that.

Ballisitic, you have really really nice cars, I can only wish of ending up like that at such an age.

Thank you!

I actually own my own home also at 26 still making payments of course but I havent had to much fun in my youth just went to work:)👍 I suspect in the coming next few years the fun factor will only improve as my future at my current company is very bright!

The LSx swapped FD will be alot of fun but its a long term project. I could drive it as a rotary right now but choose not to as it has some fairly major issues I would prefer not to correct.

Thank you!

Can I ask what you work as?

My car: 1995 Opel Tigra 1.4 91HP

07082009001.jpg

07082009.jpg

Top Speed: Around 130 MPH/ 210 KMH
0-60: 10.5 seconds
Weight: 2 300 Pounds/ 1050 KG

This is my first car, I have it for a year now and got it a month after I got my liscense. A small and low coupe, not very fast, but very pretty (to me), and has been a nice companion through the last year. ABS, AC, Heated Mirrors are some of its features :). Those pics were taken when I got it after a complete respray, because the woman who had it hadn't take care of the bodywork properly. I bought it because it had a very low mileage (34 000 miles/ 56 000 KM), and the engine was (and still is) super fine.

Not very fast, either accelerating or in terms of top speed, but that's not the real party piece of the car: it's the handling. Very planted, very steady, it grips and grips and, when that ends, oversteer that can be easily corrected. I had lots of fun in the (few) more spirited drives on back roads :D.

I couldn't be happier with my Tigra, I truly think it is the perfect car for anyone who just got a driving liscense.

Finally, about 2 months ago, I got a 99' Lotus Elise in the classic british racing green, very happy with it! Loveable car!

It looks like quite the scenic route you're taking in the last pic.👍 How's the power on that Elise? Weren't those ones the old Rover engine?

They only had 88kw back then but they also weighed in less than 700kg.

Great little car and they are quickly becoming a collectors item.

here is mine:

Audi S3 8L 2002 (225PS)

Supersprint exaust till cat
Abt metalbreaktubes (?) + Dot4 breakfluid (for trackdays)
Pogea RS4 front bumper (Polyepoxidcarbonat)
Blood2Black paint (limited to 900liters worldwide)
And a 2500W soundsystem + DVD radio
Modified air filter (made 2nd intake coming from the bumper)
bilstein PSS9 fully adjsutable suspension
Modified Haldex (now real quattro with 50/50 all the time) it's a joy to drift in snow with it and in roundabouts
HR>>> Spacer 2.5 cm rear
Sabelt 3 point belt for driverseat
Pirelli P zero asymetric + symetric (they love nür)
aeroblades front and back...
and some little tweaks here and there

Next mods:
Complete rebuilt of the engine (390PS)+bigger breaks, but that will have to wait a bit

And I finally regot all my points on my driving permit, so i can repush it again a bit without the big fear of the evil cops (during 5 years i got not pulled over once, and than lost 8/12 points in 1 year :S; and always way to fast :D)

that's my 2nd audi of this kind. First was a simple A3 1.8t quattro with a modded engine with 210PS, Fully tuned ricer style (yeah i did it)

The bumper and the paint was made by audi which i'm sueing for 2 years now, because the paint in scattering due to bad prework and the bumper doesn't sit 1:1 as it should be and i can't fix it myself because of the sueing...

Yeah Paulie, it got the old 1.8 Rover 120hp, not much, but it's very funny to drive.

I assume you mean fun and not funny right?;) I don't think I'd fit in that car, I watched an old review of an Elise where the reviewer was a bit over 6ft like me (6'3") and his head poked through the roof. That said I probably wouldn't fit in a GT40 either, height has its pros and cons.:sly:

Got it about a year and a half ago. My first 'fast' car. Can't wait till it's paid off so I can sell it and get my C55.

Nice '68 Roadrunner!!! I knew exactly what it was and the year by the black and white roadrunner on the side.

And here is the '94 Stang I used to have and where my username came from. It made 506 RWHP & 510 RWTQ with a 155k miles stock bottom end. You got to love the 5.0L. It had AFR 165 heads, FRPP cam, GT40 intake, and a D1SC Procharger at 12psi.

Interesting wheel choices. I'm still trying to figure out why they decided to use a billet gas cap on the challenger.

It's actually plastic chrome plate, but it is there to look the part of the original. The originals were cast aluminum.

Yellowclone, you have WAY too much money. :P

Nice cars. 👍

Thanks, but actually I don't have enough money LOL. The 2000 Dakota, I bought new in 2000, so it is long paid for. I slowly built up the Stang over a 6 years span, and traded it to the 2003 Dakota RT, and it already had all the work done except for the supercharger. The 1995 Dakota, I got for $500, with an extra bed, and it runs and drives. So, I only owe on the Challenger. I've wanted a Challenger since I was 5 years old, and when the new ones came out, I hated to, but I went back into debt for a car. I love every minute of it though, and it is totally worth it.
