My 2006 Acura RSX-S or Honda Integra in some countries :)

Just took the car yesterday morning, done some small things to it... Some of you might not know this car but its name is Proton Persona. A bit different from what some of you can get in the UK or Australia...

Sorry for the bad quality pictures. Next stop is to change the rims but maybe after the 1k KM service.

Actually, we get the same car in the UK, it's just called the Gen-2. Jondot likes them. I think. The Persona nameplate was dropped after they stopped making that Mitsubishi-based sedan, which I think was also known as the Wira. It's confusing, Proton have used at least two different names for every model they've released...

Nice Acura up there 👍

Nice Audi too, though I'm not keen on the aftermarket grille. I'm not quite sure why people fit those extended, new-style grilles to older Audis as they never look right.

The same car indeed but did you got the latest facelift yet because the one I have here is the Persona Elegence. I tell you the difference between the one before and after facelift is very noticable and is much better! They equipped the car with the new 32-bit ECU, Integrated Air Fuel Module (IAFM) engine -wish it has a CPS :indiff:-, better comfort, stereo system (Blaupunkt), new dashboard, more sound insulators, remote boot release and much much more. Best thing, cheaper than the one before facelift (though by around MYR2k) 👍

In the UK, you guys have the Gen-2 Persona which is the sedan just like mine while the Gen-2 is just about the same but with shorter rear boot.

This Persona was intended to be the replacement model of the Mitsubishi-Based model Wira. Dissapointingly, in 2007 I think they only managed to sell 4 in the UK thus rating the car as the worst selling car in the UK.

Thanks
Actually mine is not only for looks.

as said it's made of PEC. Super resistant bumber, but it's not lighter (could have gone with the full carbon but it costs like 5 grants. This is not a cheap asian import.
it cost more than certain full bodykits!

And as you may know the bigger 1.8t has additional intercoolers on the sides and now they get all the air they need. This will become even more important after the rebuilt engine

And it was the time when not everybody had them on the cars ( and still better on an audi than a vw or a ford)

Oh shnap! Any more pics of the girl? Seriously one of the hottest car girls I've seen in a long time. 👍

As I've just mentioned in the GTP Members car directory, here's the Suzuki Swift I've just picked up from the showroom.

This wouldn't be inspired by the Swift Cup we used to run would it?:sly:

Good call 👍 Swifts are great little cars.

Cheers, I had read quite a few good write-ups. In the end it wasn't a difficult decision because my other 1st choices turned out to be not for me.

Indeed Swift is a great little car... But it costs a heck too for a small car here

Here in the UK, its a competitive price. Its about the same as the Clio, Fiesta, 207, Corsa, etc.

Maybe :P. I definitely didn't really know about the Swift before that, lets put it that way.
But honestly, it was a choice made because of my height more than anything else, I can fit in the Swift quite comfortably. I also quite enjoyed the test drive too and I like the layout of the interior.

It's a shame you weren't able to get the Sport model as made famous by Prologue.👍

Ive got a 2001 audi S4 (hence the name? :))

Went out tonight to mess around with cars and cameras.
They turned out a little grainy/noisy because of the settings i used, i'm no photographer but you learn through trial and error, anyway here they are.

(A wheel fell off a trailer going the opposite direction. Luckily I had shoulder to utilize or I would have had to take the hit head on.)
