LOL, if you're referring to moi, yeah it RAN 16's when it was still stock. Once I popped that BPU'd 383 stroker in there she's been sub 11's, once I hit up that top mounter I'll definately get 10's or 9's I may even be able to squeeze out 8's on that tranny before I have to change anything.

I know how hard 8's are, one of my Staff Sergeants has an 8 second mustang and that things is a beast, I wish I had a pic on this computer, when I get me comp out of the shop I'll definately upload that pic, it's turboed, sprayed, the works. it' crazy.

???? What is all this mean?fd,fc??
FC was the mazda rx-7 that was around until 1991 (that had the convertible version)
The FD was the version after that. in my opinion, one of the most beautiful cars ever.

hope that helps! :D

Yup, very nice.
Even though the new Mini's are bigger, I love the old school look of the cars.
We don't see too many of them in our neighborhood, but the ones we see are taken care of.
We even have a 1972 Anniversary Edition Mini Coop in our car club. When we had the Hooter girls pose in front of that Coop, you could only see the girls, not the car. Who was worrying about the car anyway?? :D

Its now ½ sanded and ready for my 2tone lineX 'paint' job im really wanting to do. Black below and white above. Dont want a 'good' paint job and the zeros to follow the $ sign, plus its extra safe in parking lots too =D
It needs an engine and clutch, THANK GOD FOR TAX TIME!!!!
OMG!!! THAT LANCER in the first page was SWEEEEET as well as that Tommi Mack one too!!1 and the Evo 8! WOO! Car & Driver liked them. I'm envious!! Wanna trade cars, evo owners? My beater for...yours? heh :D
Nice cars...all frickin 33 pages of 'em!

Nice 86 bro, keep it mean. Are you going for grip or drift? I know that EVERYBODY and their mother wants to drift an 86, but I was watching some Option videos and those babys can out grip drive some of the fastest cars. Not to mention the best motoring vid where two 86's out grip a Nissan Skyline (That Piece of Crap)

Anyway, stay cool bro.

By the way, here's an update on my current beaters LOL.

DSC00240.JPG

My 1987 Camaro IROC Z28, 85,000 miles on the chassis, less than 500 on the engine. She cranks out 557 hp at the rear wheels and is a HIGHWAY CHAMP. She's the reason that all of the Civics keep it on the sidestreets.

HIGHWAY RACERS DO IT BEST!

DSC00246.JPG

Here's my 2003 CavalierLS Sport Coupe, she's still stock, still has less than 100 miles on her. BRAND SPANKIN NEW BABY! I'm going to build her up to be a Highway Master as well, you know for when those four bangers don't want to race the V-8:lol: . She's also going to be a Touge Terror, hopefully it won't take much to get her ready to take on Touge Racing, but I'm still expecting the worst, you know? I will NEVER, EVER sleep on FF cars again. EVER!

42_3.jpg

Last but DEFINATELY not least. My 1990 Nissan 240sx FastBack, she's something to remember. I really like the way she drifts like a champ and she's almost completely stock. She has a WHOPPING 196,000 miles on her, with exception to brand new tires, brand new clutch and brand new brakes. She also has a new cold-air intake that makes her bellow out the torque to the rear wheels. She has awesome throttle response and will make a VERY good drift car when I'm done with her.

That's my babies, I hope you enjoyed the tour, keep the other cars coming, I wanna see some projects in the making people.

Hey, I downloaded a 'learning to drift fundamentals' vid of some sort off Klite with you hosting the whole thing!
I recognise you man. too bad it was cut off...as in it was pretty short. nice vid tho.

I gotts ta get me a wheel and peddals too. I like drifting the WRX STI Impreza (w/out the round head lights) around aprocot hill.

Anyhow, I don't prefer drift over grip due to my 86 being so old. It already needs new suspension parts as is (shocks, struts, bushings) anddrifting will cause more parts to go bad.
Although I'm confident I can drift, grip is my preferance.

See the thing with drifting is to take a car that has moderate to poor handling around the corners faster by swinging the ass-end around rather than deal with the understeer.
Now the corolla GTS handles FREAKING NICE!
Isnt drifting an æ86 hipocritical?
1. They don't have the gretest power on keeping the tires spinning with the stock 115hp ½ way through the turn they lose their power.
2. They are lightweight yes, however, lighter is better for gripping and gripping is outright faster anyways.
Drifting is a skill rather than a form of racing or art.
But thats just me.
I'll never drift my car due to the condition its in.
Rust free!!! none! So I'm charishing it to the max.
Its got an engine with 70k and a new clutch on the way due to the unfortunet wrong-doings of previous owners.
I got the car with 196k on it, slight rod knock and a funky idle with a blown head gasket/clogged heater core.
Thats all fixed now and the with the rod knock, detonation and the oil spraying all over the engine coming from a place on the engine I couldnt figure out, I took 'er down before it took me down. Simple as that.

Well, I gotta end this 'life' story of this corolla. heh.
p.s. I'm looking for an 85 hatchback to match my coupe. Not 86 or 87....85 cuz mines 85.

Don't sleep on the FF baby. The cavy is stock as cheese right now, but when it's got IT'S cold air intake (that comes on EVERY MRS) I'll get with ya:P

Remember we already talked about this, we're gonna battle. Just choose your opponent.:D

No offense there Shadow, but I'd rather have the oil funnel in front of your left headlight of the Camaro, then either of the first two cars. Sorry, but I have hated Chevy cars for a long time.
