Gooooodness that LS is clean, I seriously want one now  Some day.
Throw some wheels and a drop and bam 👍
Also it could probably benefit from some leather maintenance, I used leatherique on the IS and it was much nicer afterwards, the steering wheel really comes out looking like new.

The leather's in pretty good shape for a car that just turned eleven this month. The only area that could use some restoration is the driver's door panel, where it's getting a bit yellow. :yuck:

I'm personally not into stancing or lowering LS430s, it just doesn't suit the car. I want it to look like a big, impressive sedan and it does that job fine stock. The only thing I'd want to do is update the taillights to this style:

Other than that all I'd want to do is just restoration; have the few scuffs on the car repainted or fixed, and have a subtle, but annoying ding on the trunklid buffed out. The floormats could use a cleaning, though there's a set of thin clear mats over the carpet mats, but they need to be replaced; they look a bit dim and nasty and make the floor look dirty when it isn't. A subtle, subtle decklid spoiler could be interesting as well, but other than that the car's fine the way it is.

Probably selling my GSX for an E30 IX soon, so I figured I might as well share some pics of it while I have it. Just more with my phone :/

When black cars are clean :)

If you wasn't so far away. I'd think seriously hard about buying that GSX. Had a 98 Silver back in 99. All stock as there was zero aftermarket for it. Something about the ECU wasn't figured out then. Been many moons and many builds ago.

Haha, mines all stock too and 100% pristine. Hard to let her go but I just need a more practical car for going to college.

:) after college, then you can get a serious toy!! Good thought process man.

Try the DSM forums. It should sell quickly being unmolested.

Had some setbacks with the shoot I was going to do, mostly with the damn weather...but figured I'd just leave this here :)

I'm in love with those wheels. And that car. 👍

I'd love some wheels like that for the Mondeo, I'm getting pretty bored of the current 8 year-old ones.

I didn't, I'm not big into subarus but I called one of those a wrx once and I swear they were ready to jump me and told me its an impreza GC8... But if it is excuse me.

GC8 simply refers to the chassis. It's an MY00 WRX Club Spec Evo 4 limited edition.

Thank you kindly :) the wheels are Enkei GTC01 in hyper silver, 18x8" if you are interested 👍

The US never got the GC8 WRX, just the 2.5RS Impreza and thus them likely jumping on you about it. But, as has been mentioned, GC8 is just the chassis code, much like how my M3 is an E36 or a 2000 Honda/Acura Type R is a DC2.

Is that a simple trunk swap? If so, even just the outer halves of the "updated" tails would look nice, with the matching clear strip.

The newer taillights are a different shape than the old ones, and I wouldn't be interested in having to hack up the rear of the car just to get them to fit. I like the larger shape of the old taillights more anyway. I'm sure there has to be a set of older taillights with the new design out there, though all I've seen so far are fugly LED designs.

Ahhh it all makes sense, and yes I'm familiar with the concept of platform/chassis codes

You realize that is actually a WRX?

... Do you not play Gran Turismo? I don't mean to rag on you or anything, but it's an odd thing not to know considering the forum we're on.

I do not play GT. And I was unaware we are on a Subaru forum, as that is the only place I would find it odd to not know said information.

It almost is like a Subaru forum with all the Subies on here :)
I like that :P

It's my first car (I'm only 16). Background on the photo is iffy (it's on my driveway haha) but for some reason I like the shot.

A lot of members don't play GT anymore, even those of us that are quite active.

Certainly better than my first car, but the post processing on the photo is beyond distracting... feels way too much like something from GT's Photomode gone wrong.

Damn it, I should have known better to post a pic like that with photographers around!
Yes the editing is way OTT, that's actually an incomplete picture at the moment as I am working on replacing the background (I'm new to Photoshop so it's practice) and I had to really hit it hard in Lightroom to get the lighting right.

Thanks for the feedback though, I'm pretty new to this so all of it helps.
As a (hopefully) better and less distracting pic:
