It's my friends car that I'm driving today while my wagon gets some add on's.
Bugeye WRX Wagon
Was driving around earlier and figured I'd stop somewhere nice and take some pictures. See what else I could do with fixing up a photo in Photoshop:
Where'd your front plate go you deviant?! Better watch out for bored state troopers. I got pulled over the other day when I borrowed my parents jeep. They bought it in PA months ago and still haven't put the front plate on
Decided to take some pictures of the very dirty Highlander today since I don't have any pictures of it. It's the wimpy base model, with front wheel drive, 155 horsepower and a four speed auto with an old fashioned overdrive button. It has just over a hundred thousand miles on it, the past twenty thousand or so accumulated over the past three years when it became the extra car. It sits in front of the house in direct sunlight, and as a result the grille is peeling and the headlights are starting to look yellow. Still, it's a reliable little workhorse, and the only issue is that one of the passenger doors has to be opened from the outside. It's the most modified vehicle we have, with itty-bitty 15 inch aftermarket wheels and a factory wing that was added on a few years ago. It's also had the misfortune to be rearended three times in the first few years of ownership.
I was wondering when someone would call me on that. You can still see the screw holes for the plate if you're looking for them. D:
Still, though. My mom went a whole year with her Camaro with no plate until she got a warning. I keep it in the trunk. If I get pulled over for it I can put it on before I even get back on the road.
That front plate ruins so many good looking front ends.
Lookin' good Doog. 👍
Those headlights could probably come up with a bit of wetsanding. Good stuff here on how to do it.

I borrow it for 1 day and a trooper stops me. Luckily only got a warning since it was not my own vehicle I guess.
I've looked into that and told my mom (dad could care less how it looks) but she doesn't quite trust it.
But thanks for the link. 👍

The front license plate is Satan's contribution to motoring laws. I just shove mine in my windshield. Been told I need to mount it thousands of times and 2 tickets. Rather pay them than put that ugly rectangle on there. Each ticket was only like $30 anyway.
It's a law in Colorado as well. I took mine off the day I bought the car and have yet to be hassled about it. The bracket's laying around the house somewhere and the still-minty-new plate is in the filing folder with the rest of the car's paperwork. I get lots of looks though, and I've been followed a few times while driving perfectly within the law. Doesn't something like that require a warning "fix it" ticket before getting fined? Like, if you had the bracket couldn't you just put it on and take the ticket into the DMV, have them look at your car, and they'll let it go?
Salem taking Smart Phone photography waaaayy too seriously and busted out the tripod to get a shot on his Galaxy S3…

I just saw your sig and it reminded me of this, from a Chronicles blog:

Edit: The Mini finally came home for the day, so after driving it (and realizing what a nice thing the Lexus' armrests are) I decided to take photos of both the nice cars together.
So many pictures Doog You should try a location other than your driveway
