Out with the old...

...and in with the new.

I suggest you put chrome thingy around the foglights, just like in the 2011 models and in the back change volvo text to the which has spaces, makes it look lot more newer and better :sly: đź‘Ť

Not planning on the fog light thing, but I am definitely doing the wider V O L V O badging. I actually did that on my S60.

Not really my car... More of my brother's that I've been using throughout the winter. His 2013 Suzuki SX4 Crossover. The thing is an absolute blast in the snow, running circles around guys in WRX's. Although I quite literally did the same with my mom's Nissan Rogue. :D

Photo was taken a couple of days ago a little farther up north in Maine. Found some pretty fun roads and had a small photoshoot.

Out with the 2.2 Camry, in with the 2.2 Celica GT. I know the exterior is kinda beat up, but the interior is really nice. Has 127K miles on it, and unfortunately an automatic transmission. BUT, after driving a Camry for a few months, this feels like a proper sports car.

So..... it's a sportier Camry?

Yes, I know I'm probably wrong.

Eh, I guess you could say that in a sense. They do share their engines, the 5SFE. But the Celica handles a lot better, has better brakes, a better transmission (the Camrys is the definition of slush box), and you can definitely tell it's made to be sporty.

The engine isn't really a performance oriented motor, but when you plop it in a smaller and lighter car it makes a lot of difference.

My future car is a Vw Betle 1953 My dad restored the whole car since it was really old and rusty, I don't have pics of it right now since my mom is divorced from my dad and I did not take any pics but I might have some pics tomorrow or Monday. :)

So I have posted three of my real 1/1 cars in the past and I figured I would share the rest of the family ...but on a reduced scale :-). I hope no one minds but trust me, apart from the fact that I cannot physically get in and drive these bad boys, they are treated like real cars in my life. The first car (the Subaru STi) is for fun. I can set it up for Time Attack, Drifting or just for having some fun in some parking lot somewhere. It has a fully adjustable suspension but no sway bars. The second car is much more serious - I have raced it in our Nationals and it finished in the Top 8 by the end of the year. It is wearing my new racing colors (Orange/Black/White) but will only do club races this year.

It has been raining all weekend so I got bored and decided to get new bodies and wheels. The bodies are not pre-painted ...they are of the kind you have to paint yourself. Like my real 1/1 cars, these 1/10 Bad Boys put long lasting smiles on my face ...every time! I have a collection of 11 cars but these two are among the more special. Cheers.

Oh and the Subaru runs on batteries while the mazda has a race-tuned Nitro drinking beast of an Italian motor. It is two-stroke and screams all the way to 40 000 RPM!

Trying to look tough in front of a mahussive MOD truck ( there was another 20 or so behind me as well out of shot.

Sold my old faithful Citroen Xsara recently and replaced it with '11 Ford Mondeo Estate aka Mindy. Hope she will serve my family well. She's no beast, but 116 hp turbodiesel is still responsive enough for everyday driving while being very easy on my wallet (lower insurance and car tax, good mpg). Boot is a real cave too. Xsara was comfy enough but no match to Mindy's nice modern toys such as mp3 stereo and built-in bluetooth handfree phone set. Suspension is much harder, which is good for precision driving but not so much for comfort on slovenian roads, that are full of holes.

I look forward to bringing this out of the garage to post here again.. Seriously debating getting rid of it and getting something more built for twisties than going like hell in a straight line.
