What happened? There are only two posts here.
My university's internet was like "some sort of social interaction?! OH NO YOU DON'T!"

Ahem.

So, possible names. You could go with "Anton". Doesn't sound too special, but that was the designated code name for the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A series models, including the A-8 :D Granted, as far as fighter designations go, I've been loving the "Kurfürst" moniker. That was given to the latest, most top of the line models of the Messerschmidt Bf 109 models.

You're right about the U-boats. They're just numbered. "U" for U-boat followed by consecutive numbering, so nothing special here. The Kriegsmarine had a whole bunch of battle ships that might offer a name or two, as @Clark suggested: Tirpitz, Bismark, Graf Spee, Gneisenau, Scharnhorst...

Oh, lest I forget: Anton aside, those are all names that might get you a strange look or two.

Two boats together.

Despite having my DSLR with me, I decided to quickly get a picture of my car with it's facelifted relative. (At the grocery store) :D

That would be pretty nice, but these are I believe the AT Italia 16" replicas.

But yeah they work out well for winter wheels. I was positively surprised when I got them on.

Did you know that your local* under-construction subdivison is a good place to take car pics in peace?

*it was actually 50 miles away but whatever

Bonus: I never see clean E39s anymore

Clean and well-kept E39s are like freaking unicorns man

That R8 in the background photobombed you.
That was the point. Showcasing two 4.2 V8s. However the R8 had two damn flower pots on either side of it to prevent "theft" so I couldn't get a clean pic with my car. Now it just looks like you said, a photobomb.

Also had an M4 to the left of the car.
