Also, @Doog I don't know why, but for some reason that color really suits the Suburban. And the thing looks great in that shape. Most of the Suburbans I see around here are rusted out unkempt beaters. It's nice to see one that looks well taken care of.

Yeah, I'm not really keen on beige cars myself, but the color doesn't look half bad on the Suburban. My camera has a knack for making cars look better than they actually do, though. Two of the wheel flares are a bit faded, and the top of the spoiler is pretty bad too. It's got a couple of dings and scratches and stuff, but what it could really use is a good detailing inside and out to look good again.

That's very nice. How's the maintenance on those? I've been looking at cars on Craigslist, because I recently got my permit and would like to have my own car.

The only problems I've had so far were electronic problems so I can't fully say how much maintenance would be, suggest finding one well maintained.

Got a set of integrated wind deflectors for the Mazda 6.

I just bought a new car but it was in the midst of being repaired by the dealer when I purchased it. They gave me an identical Outlander Sport to drive around for the time being and I have to say that it's a solid vehicle.

Will post pics of my new ride when I get it.

My mighty beast of a car.

I call him Reginald because he's beige.

I used to have a Stratus in that style, it was actually pretty decent (at least in V6 form). Unfortunately my mom was the previous owner of it and neglected the hell out of it so it died at 108,000 miles.

Of course whoever decided the battery placement needs to be banned from having anything to do with car design.:banghead:

My biggest complaint is the leg room!

Mine's the 2.4 I4, so any hope of being fast isn't there. It can break the tires loose, so long as you've had a good soaking rain.

I do agree with the battery placement. After putting a new battery in mine I joked to my mom "Next time it needs a battery we need to list it on Craigslist saying '2001 Stratus, needs battery.'" That wasn't funny after we discovered the first battery was a dud and we needed to put another one in two weeks later...
