Decided to try and cross a river, where I thought there was gravel, turns out, that was a tree down. Oh well. Good ol apoc is alive and well. 2001 Toyota Camry.

Ughhh. I hate pictures taken in portrait mode. Can you not rotate them and edit your post?

So I bought a Chevrolet Equinox Sport. Not the car (or even the type of car) I would've guessed would be my first automobile purchase, but a perfect storm of factors and the emotional and pragmatical halves of my brains agreeing meant its my new ride.

My job and life required more space and better accessibility of said space than my Celica afforded me, but the enthusiast and financial advisor in me cringed at most pick ups. The ones I wanted I couldnt afford, and those I could were meh.

So now I have a sharp SUV that fits work and social lives while affording enough to keep the enthusiast in me happy without breaking the bank (yet).

Pics soon.

Me and a few friends plasti-dipped the wheels along with painting the calipers red ourselves!

Heres what the car looked like when I got It:
Then a day's worth of work and a few friends later:
Looks great! Good work. Might have to something similar to mine..

Here's the only pic I have of my 'Nox Sport so far.

I realize I have never posted a picture of my Celica either, so that will come as soon as I can get one. Will take it to get cleaned and detailed as soon as I get my Equinox back from the dealership (one of the rear passenger interior door handles didn't function).

My biggest complaint about the Equinox is the dashboard. It looks like crap. Otherwise I think it's a fine vehicle thus-far and has been a huge improvement in every way over the Celica (minus fuel mileage). I'll be making my own thread about these two oddballs of mine as soon as I get some pictures of both of them.

As much as I'm gonna hate having to keep it clean all the time, if it wasn't in black, I probably wouldn't have purchased it. The black with the polished wheels and silver accents looks pretty good.

Sidenote: classy shoes x3
Now to wax the car on a not-so-hot day so this doesn't happen again...
