Just bought a limited edition (only 124 sold in US) Prima Edizione of the Fiat 124 Spider. This Italian-wrapped two-seater is my very first car that could be confused with a sports car. I'm having a blast driving this slow car fast.

Nice one.. Here's ours, 2018 2.0T Quattro, DSG but not S-line. Very fun cars :)

They are indeed. Although, I do miss manual, proper handbrake and the true quattro of my old A4. Unfortunately I don’t have any place to put it, so had to get rid of it when we got the A3. It would have been such a nice toy, getting out all the interior, putting in roll cage etc...

M140i? It looks pretty dope!! If only BMW would produce a 4-door RWD/AWD version of the 2 series... I would switch from my Audi in a heartbeat...

Thank you! It's a 120D :indiff: An M135i or M140i would be great but I make way too many miles for that. Though it's pretty fast for small hatchback standards, had it chipped to 235bhp and 475nm :dopey:

Your Audi looks great too! Can only imagine how cool it must feel to go from a 2002 to a 2016 car

Yeah, I do miss having a clutch and a handbrake on this thing. They get a bit softer for each generation, big power 5 cylinder quattro cars are where it's at for me. Big power Audis around these parts of the world equals 600 - 900 hp and four wheel skids all day long..

This ain't that. But even being auto with an electronic handbrake it's fun for what it is.. What surprised me is how little restrictive the traction/stability control actually is when you turn it off. The age where you can turn them completely off (and still retain ABS etc) are gone, but it does let you have quite a lot of angle before it reins you in.. :)

We're saying goodbye to the Mini and picking this up next week:

Put a deposit down today, very nice to drive, I was surprised how well it handled compared to the Mini.

It’s a Giulietta, right? Which engine?

I’m also surprised about your comments on the handling. Gotta be honest, I’m not up-to-date on the small Alfa models but always had the impression that modern Minis are great drives.

I’m considering the Giulia myself once my lease is up later this year, will see what kind of deal the Alfa dealers can whip up.
