Post a picture of your real car and it's equivalent in GT5

Nice idea for a thread. My car isn't in the game though. :-(

Also, pic quoters, I hate you.

Some may not know how to break the hot linked images.

All you got to do is, remove img links from the quoted pics and it's all good.

Whenever I get my PS3 back from repair (yep, it sucks :(), I'll post up pics of my 135i and it's GT5 equivalent :)

Good idea for a thread!

After i took the shots it seems some are quite badly out of perspective compared to my real life photos.

Next time a better effort lol.

I've raced against a 1.8T in GT5 but haven't seen one come up for sale yet.

Wow, this is a tough audience.
Here's a crappy iphone photo of the car somewhere in Manitoba during my cross country trip across Canada last summer.

Woohoo !

Just bought a '00 TT 180. My real life car (if you haven't been paying attention}.
I've been checking for it pretty much every day since the games release. PD spec'd it with the 225 hp version (available to the rest of the world, but not Canada) but I'm still stoked !
Canada's version of the 2000 TT (inaugural year for the country) only came in one version; blister bumpers, coupe, 1.8T (all stainless, single exhaust) 180 hp, quattro and loaded with every option, My cars only delete (Lake Silver/all black interior) was the traction control).

Really happy to see it in the game.
And its rolling on the (same as my car) optional 17" six spoke wheels.

That is as close as I can get with what is offered in GT5.

No '68 Mustang in the game, but here is mine and my SGT side by side.

Just out of curiosity, why do you say stage 2? What does that mean exactly? Stage 2 in performance parts from a certain manufacturer? Stage 2 as in there's certain stages to hp for certain cars?

I don't get it, the terminology is not used much in Aus

Totally forgot to update this thread with pics of my car. I did my best to angle the shots as closely as I could.

I cannot tell you how jealous I am of the guys with the Camaro, Mach 1 and '68 Mustangs...

But good to see some north Americans with good style over substance TT lovin'... :)

(supposed to be Moro blue in GT5... looks grey in pics)

Sadly I don't have anything as exciting as most people seem to and the only car that's almost in GT5 is one I used to have about 10-15 years ago. It was a 1990 Nissan Bluebird ZX Turbo (aka Nissan Stanza in the US I think), closest car in GT5 to it is the 1979 BLUEBIRD Hardtop 1800SSS (910).

Not4you
here is my 1971 Mach1 Mustang (351C) ... I have had it for 20 years now and it has run some fun laps on the track too (Mosport International).

and here it is in GT5 ...

I also have a 1985 Saleen Mustang that enjoys the odd track day too ...

there are no Fox Mustangs in GT5 so I guess this is the closest thing ...

I'd kill to have Mosport in GT5.. Just saying...

This tread is dormant, and I've already posted my ride, but screw it. Now that we can change wheels on standard cars, I had to re-do mine to be more accurate.

The closest thing to my real car is a concept car, and a poor-looking standard one at that. But at least I could repaint it white and put on satin black 5-spokes to match.

Yeah, it's a work in progress :ouch:

But yeah, outside of the rear lights, wing, grille, side skirts, front skirt, rims and glass over the headlights, its the same car (well, except the engine of course, 3.1 V6, lol, 140 hp :guilty::grumpy:)

My Car: 1990 Chevy Camaro RS
GT5 Car: 1988 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z Concept

(I could write a page worth of my car's history, but I'll spare you guys, lol, just to be told, it's been in the family longer than me, 22 years this month actually, and I'm only 19 (20 in June :scared: ), lol, probably why I love my car so much, it's been around me forever).

Also, just to clarify, I blame the accursid sun for my cars poor condition :grumpy: and the idiots that painted it last. Hopefully, I'll be getting it painted this year after this semester of college is over, and get the rims polished/chromed, then she'll look purdy again :D
