My LanEvo3 has retired... My GT1 car right now is a black Mitsubishi Eclipse... I'll post the drift set-up later on... Or you can download this software I'm working on...

Do Not Use Sim Tire, it slows down your time and ur racing, use super soft, and try to wieght shift ur car, it will go faster then before, but with the anolog or the wheels, you will have better chance of going very fast about 70 miles on the big turn of Trial Mountain

Well it doesn't really matter cuz driftin is sorta slow overall. It'z really all for show. The only places where drifting MIGHT be faster than grip racing is the REALLY REALLY small hairpins like SS11 or some turns on CS.

when i went go karting recently i quickly found out that the way to get the best times was to mini-drift all the corners, since the turning circle of all the karts was really big, getting around tight corners was much faster if u slid around. so i dont agree that its all for show. but this debate has been going on for years hasn't it? and im sure it will continue for more to come. but i do know that my drifting-skyline r34 is able to destroy my lap times for a grip skyline with the same hp (1057). probably for similar reasons

but when u drift for fastest times, the drifts dont look nearly as good because u are constantly keeping the car in check making sure u lose none of ur forward velocity for 'show'. so in that respect yeah i guess u are right, if u want stylish drifts then u will have to sacrifice some time.

rofl i just answered my own argument! :D

this is the setup that I run in my RX-7 rs.

I prefer slicks (T3) front, and normal tires rear. If your style preferes sim tires, then do it. I also like my ride at around 400 Hp or so,but I can drift well with this setup at 700Hp or 300 Hp, as well.

This setup is what I have found that works for me. I don't know if they will work for anyone else. So, if you could, try them and get back to me, and tell me what you think.
