Here is the final version!!! This might be my best graphics car so far. 100 vinyls on the side. 3 hours of work. "TEAM" was over 25 vinyls. 3 layers per letter. white red white






 
On the sponsors logo decals can you change the colors? Or do I have to paste over it?
 
You cant change the sponsor logo colors. Thats why I had to make the entire work "Team" and "TOYO" all out of vinyls then color them. Just between those 2 words alone is over 25-50 vinyls. Not easy at all and very time consuming. If you look close enough you see different colors like white red blue then white again. Team was 3 differnt colors. white then red then white again.
Wilwood on the front and back was also over 25 vinyls. And you cant copy from front to back so I had to make it for the front and the back using circles and squares.
 
Jesus that would take forever. I have a hard time doing cool things because my eyes are pretty crappy and without a zoom fuction I have a hard time.

im gonna do a formula one range on the respective cars.....

Mclaren Mercedes: Mclaren SLR
Ferrari: 575M or 360 modena
Toyota: Supra
Jordan Toyota: MR2
Minardi Cosworth: Mustang GT or Focus
BAR Honda: NSX
Sauber Petronas: Enzo Ferrari or seomthing else (not sure on this one yet)
Red Bull Racing: Ferrari 355 as they are running ferrari engines next year
Williams: No beamers so it will be either....Volvo S60 or a Mercedes something.
Renault: Porsche 911 GT3, only because i dont like the clio


well, there you go, expect some results soon then i will be starting on the Rally range :D

Not at all, ít's pretty cool that you can do stuff like that in the game. If the game supported the DF Pro or something comparable (which means not stuff like the Speedster 3), I'd be playing ... Ah well.

Oh, and by GT4 fanboys, I meant ones that t4lk liek this 'nd think t3h xb0x r teh cr@p and dat teh PS2 is godz0r. ;)

You on the other hand obviously have the same principles as me. I.E - don't give a fark what console it's on, as long as the game itself is good. :)👍

Its even funnier when Forza fanboys who say GT4 suck end up making these creations.

NOT saying you said that GT4 sucks though.

i dont like clio's personally but i may still do it on that.

heres some pics i did of my most favorite supra in the whole world. the WOTM supra. i think its current best is 9.21 @ 159mph in the quarter, w/ a full interior, and FACTORY 6 SPEED. this car is amazing, and a local phoenix car! I did the best i could w/ it. it may look like a simple car but not when you try to make it. haha. i didnt put the logo on the hood cuz after doing both sides basically from scratch i was pretty burned out. (since each side is a different layout, you cant just do one side and copy everything to other side in one shot. gotta take it piece by piece and reposition it) and i added the side skirts and rear bumper on there for flair since the game doesnt have the same spoiler he has. :grumpy: all in all i think it came out pretty good. ive been wanting to do this car since TXR3.

Fades from white to yellow to orange to red then to black on the rear. Somehow on the front it has a pearl effect.
 
i decided not to do the F1 series cars so i started on the rally cars instead.

Citroen Xsara (Dodge SRT-4), had to use the dodge due to lack of citroens. Finished.
Peugeot 206, went for the 2003 version, the red one, the spoiler matches the rally car as well. Finished.
Mitsubishi Lancer evo 8, converted the WRC04 car onto the standard evo 8, looks ok but side was hard to do. Finished.
Mitsubishi Lancer evo 6, This will be the red one that has name on front and back, will be tough. Not Started
Ford Focus, will be one of the hardest, it will be the 2003 version and should hopefully turn out alright. Not Started
Subaru Impreza 04 and 00, Will be the toughest due to the shapes, if done right can look the best. Not Started.
Skoda, yet to decide on the car to put it on but could probably be the integra or civic. Not Started.

I will also do some of the P-WRC cars and maybe a J-WRC or 2.

Each car is tuned as closely to rally spec as possible, meaning around 300bhp and 1250kg.

Yes, that's the Speedster 3 with the ... ahem ... awesome ... ahem ... Force Shock Technology TM.

Correct! I have an Xbox and if this game had anything like the DF Pro going for it, and with that wheel had a similar or better driving feel, I'd be racing you guys online right now. I also tried all previous racing games on the Xbox, just to make sure. But they didn't last.

So now I'm just a frequent attender of GT4 LAN parties (where everyone drives DF Pros), and in the meantime I just practice for those events at home.

The origin of all this is Microsofts own PC force feedback wheel. They hadn't licenced the technology for this from Logitech. Logitech sued them, and won. That's problem one. Then, to clinch the deal, Microsoft prohibits third-parties to develop drivers for the Xbox. Logitech is perfectly willing to write driver software for the Xbox, but Xbox won't let them. I wouldn't be surprised, in turn, if Logitech won't let Microsoft write the driver for them - although there is no indication that Microsoft even wants to.

It's a bit like the problems many companies like EA had with Microsoft's Live setup, which they finally settled last year around the E3 (by MS giving into EA, which is lucky to have considerable leverage, thanks to its size).

I don't like this attitude too much, tbh. I hope they make amends someday and just let Logitech write those drivers.

Thank you. :) That one only took about 15 minutes. I noticed after I posted it that the entire car changes colors, not just the front. I dont even understand why it does it.
I couldnt capture the pearl effect with the pictures.
Nice work with your cars Dagoth.
