Those track outlines on your wall are awesome Synth, might get some myself.

My thoughts exactly, assuming you can find them on Ebay? They're pretty neat. đź‘Ť Oh I have that same Gran Turismo sticker on mine as well, don't think I posted it here before..

Thanks guys, I made those tracks at work on our waterjet. I can't play the banjo but I tried to for a while lol.

Trip monitor stand finished. Needs painted- tomorrow. Current Rig slides under this stand.

Fully adjustable. Should be up and racing on trips by Tuesday. Wooot bout time. Three monitors and two ps3's sat for almost three months. LoL schools out. Dad can work late.

By the way, an extra large pedal to span both clutch and brake works just fine :). You just can't use the H pattern shifter, it might get messy :P

It would get very messy indeed. But I don't know why you would want an extra large pedal plate to cover both the brake and clutch pedal when you can just use the brake pedal alone. I've seen what they look like; am I the only one who finds that they look ugly on the G25/27 pedal set?

For left foot braking. I don't like the feeling of squishing my "man parts". I like to relax. As for how it looks, I spend more time loomkng at my display than my feet. :sly: The big brake pedal PlaySeat offers for G25/27 is ugly.

OwensRacing makes custom pedals on a CNC machine that very closely resemble the Thrustmaster pedals, even with your personal logo on it. The XL pedal OwensRacing offers gives more freedom (3 extra boles) for left foot braking AND those who use the "heal & toe" technique. Me personally, having my brake be in the clutch position is ideal. This is where an XXL would be perfect.

If G25/27 users wanted a bigger pedal for Heal Toe or left foot braking, OwensRacing could probably accommodate their needs. The guy has mechanical and design talent, with a racers mindset.

That home built monitor stand looks good!

I'm doing a home-built one as well, but much more simple. I'll post pictures of it as soon as my adjustable VESA mounts come in the mail (hopefully in the next few days). It will be made out of 40mm PVC pipe and some 1x4's covered with carbon vinyl. The 1/4's will be connected with hinges to make the angle adjustable, but I'll be at around a 45-50 degree angle with the center screen 16-18" from my eyes (basically right on top of the wheel.

Work in progress! Had to tear down my old rig and make everything much smaller in preparation for moving into an apartment in a few months.

Not done obviously. The other two screens will be mounted tomorrow and I'll be mounting the individual CSR-E pedals on the pedal plate instead of using the stock foot plate they come with. Spent a total of about $20 on the triple monitor stand, and I think once I add a couple more brackets to stiffen it up just a little bit more and make it black it should blend in very well. Oh, the rig is a Bob Earl VRC MKII. The screens are only 12-14" from my eyes, which makes for a perfect 180 degree field of view.

The Aura Bass Shaker will be mounted on the back of the pedal plate.

Still have to mount the button box (to the left of the wheel) and my 7" screen (above the center monitor) as well as my SLI-Pro (or I might sell the SLI-Pro and just use my old Android Phone for SLI-Emu)

All of the wood will be stained black, and I've got a bunch of leftover carbon vinyl from another project, so I might use some of it here and there to add some flare.

I got a little bit of a hurry and scratched some paint. Should of waited 24 hrs before attaching fixtures. LoL oh well. Lil sheet and some tape and I can touch it up.

The pics are of it basically complete. Not in place in the room nor are the Monitors set to their final positions. Just more for visual reference.

Very simple yet effective stand. The design would allow a desk to be slid under it and used on a PC. I do design work. So it may eventually find it way into my office. But not anytime soon.

Anyway here you go. Btw as you can see everything is full adjustable. So when I get the tools out to set that angle and square it all perfect. It should be a relatively simple task.

Like I said in the last post, waiting for pedals to show up. Will mount the 7" USB screen on top of the edges of the center and left monitors. Still have to mount the button box too.

I'm pretty pleased with it, and once I get it painted, it will all look much better. I spent about $10 total on the wood, $30 for the three monitor mounts, and $10 for misc brackets/bolts. So $50 for a standalone triple screen monitor isn't bad IMO

Love the design and how adjustable you've made it.

Almost the same setup I've had for over 4 years- that is the same standard issue French cafe aluminum chair although now the T500RS is clamped to a solid 1.75" thick office desk (8' x 2.5").

The T500RS takes over the G25. The TH8RS and the replica F1 rim are more recent addition. For audio- the cheaper beats headphone bought specifically for driving due to its exaggerated lower mid and bass.

Got my DIY monitor stand painted, my 7" USB monitor mounted, and my button box mounted as well.

Pedals should be here hopefully mid-week. Then the only thing missing is a Fanatec CSW which I wasn't going to get for financial reasons, but found a way (legally) to make a quick buck so I can offset the cost after selling my CSR-E.

Going to pick up a small bracket to extend the TH8RS out just a little bit so I can clear the monitor stand and sequential shifter a little better.

Finally got my CSR-Elite pedals in the mail. Took them off of their plastic base and mounted them directly to the VRC MKII pedal plate. It works absolutely perfect and I didn't even have to drill any extra holes, all of what I needed was already there and it places the pedals in perfect position for both left foot braking and heel-toe. I'm very happy with the CSR-E pedals (I actually had a set before too) and the Bob Earl VRC MKII cockpit.

Wow I gotta say, that chair looks terribly uncomfortable. I'm assuming you don't do any long races with that chair do you?

LOL just came right out and said what we were all thinking. Thrustmaster T500RS wheel- $500, TH8 shifter- $50, Beats Audio headphones by Dre- $50, chair that looks like you got out of the dumpster of a bingo parlor- priceless

Nice and very compact, hard to do better !
Sequential shifter, H shifter... The next level is to replace monitors by projectors (to have a "borderless" image) ?

Hi superbike.
Nice job really!what is the size of your monitors(27"?) and what is the angle between the central screen and the lateral monitors?
I'm building my new cockpit with a triple screen(it will be ready for the end of Augost,i hope!) and i will make the triple screen stand by my self ! you con make it with 40-50euro and save 250euro!

The screens are 23" they look bigger because I set them up to be very close. The center monitor is 18" from my eyes. The angle is 60.

I went similar with seating position and screen angle. Very immersive and the visual field is fantastic.

Very nice set up.
