The best thing to do when taking race photos is decrease the shutter speed. Looks like you maxed it out and your car appears parked in place. Having motion blur from the low shutter speed really helps give the car a sense of speed. Another tip would be the composition, when the car is directly center it feels static, try placing the car a third of the way into the frame to make it more dynamic.Great thread and love the photos !
