Just got 355mph in my Toyota GT1, and i have no idea how else to get a few more miles per hour out of it

Can you give me your settings?

I got to 360 on a Toyota GT-One, here are the settings:


1st:

Gears: Drop all of them to the left completely, and then the "Final" to 2.8

2nd:

Suspension: first line=to the far right (left and right to 14 I think), second line=spring stiffness to max (both)

3rd:

Balance: Car weight completly to the back

4th:

Downforce: Again, everything to the back

That should be it, anyone can correct me if they think they have something more specific to get a couple for mph s. I'm curious.


About the tires, I tried superhard and hard, and the superhard were easier to turn at high speed because the hard ones would grab the road better and slow me down while I curve. Anyone else did this?

Does everyone bump against the right wall as you exit the turn? I always crash, but I still got to 360, so maybe if I don't crash (very hard not to) I can get upto 370 or 380, who knows.

I got a Caterham to 200mph at Le Mans. At the high speed ring i believe its 250mph or so. Nothing special but I'm just saying.

Well being the kind of guy who never does the obvious, I managed to get 89mph out of... a Daihatsu Midget!

(that's the one you win, not the one you buy in the used car showrooms)

It may not sound a lot, but when you consider it's only got 39HP tuned to max... and a gear ratio that can be set to level 5 max... and NO final gear... getting anything out of the midget is an achievement!

how do I post pics I just hit 379.81 mph in the toyota gt-one on the test course (not drafting either). I'll tell ya how. rear dorwforce 78 min spring and ride height and use max stiffness/ride hieght, low downforce on front max nitro. the car will stay on the groung until ablut 280-290 dont go pat 280 until you are at the 3/4 of the way throug the curve use nitrous as soon as th car starts to edgout to the wall you will glance the wall but your front will be inthe air and it will point you perfectly straight. then jus keep it burried. - Front 0.0 (minimum, I need the front grip so that I don't hit the wall.)

Stabilizers

- Rear: 1 (minimum)

Execution:
To start turn the car around and back track so that you can get a running start, then turn around and race.
When driving back go through all gears up to gear 5.
Once you reach the 3rd quarter of the last turn hit the NOS (or hit the NOS when you reach the fence)
Hold yourself in 5th gear until you reach 515 km/h Once you reach 515 km/h switch to 6th gear and fly down the straight.
You should run out of NOS 1/2 a second before the finish line.

How can I go faster?

Use SuperHard tires in stead of soft. It has less grip thus less roll resistence....

at my friend's house friday, april 15 2005, he hit an exact top speed of 1019.00 mph on the test track in an F1 car(the yellow one, i dont remember its name). he also did a 0-400 m time of 6.089 seconds. amazing, isnt it.

Just spent an hour setting up my new Minolta Toyota and hit 348.40 MPH!!

Settings:

Low ride height
soft springs
Gears auto 25 / 6th = very long
25 front downforce / max rear
NOS @ 70

Well the latest car I've been playing around with is the Jay Leno Tank car... managed to get 169.40 MPH out of it... would get a hell of a lot more than that, I reckon, except that the *$!!£*!&* won't let you put customised gearing on...

Still I console myself with the fact that I can always jump in my Zonda C12S 7.3 and do 301mph instead... so far!

Oops, almost forgot... 174mph in... a Fiat Panda! Ah, Italian cars... gotta love 'em... now if only they'd put Lamborghini in there... mmmm... tune me a countach... tune me a Diablo...

Post my top speed? Let me holler at you people. My past record was 260 mph in Gran Turismo 2 in a Toyota GT-One Road Car (with the Stage 4 Turbo). The newest record shocked the s*** out of me. The Pescarolo Courage C60 (with the Stage 4 Turbo) has presented me with a top speed of over 272 mph!!! I did a Track Meet, so I used other cars to get into my slipstream, and when I hit 269, I was like, "that's it! I got to tell GTPlanet about this! WOOHOO!!!"

I'm trying to tune the car to take full advantage of this Stage 4 setup to be a great road racing car. Or maybe I'm just trying to make a HUGE upset over the Nissan R92CPs and Minolta Toyota 888C-Vs. This Pescarolo Courage is my underdog machine, capable of upsets bigger than Villanova beating Kansas (college hoops), or Florida over Florida State (college football). Can you dig my high speed vibe, player?

and I doubt the Miniolta will go past 380mph yeah 380, not 360.

I am the FIRST, in the 380mph club, so even if you post something after, I got there first, and got the Post and Pics for proof, & If you break, 380mph, you better have the setting to prove you didnt just copy my settings. But thats a big IF.

Yeah yeah, escuses are like a$$ holes, everybody has one, and they all stink.

But its all good, I hope you do get the minolta that fast, it will give a reason to drive her again, oh yeah, when you get that camera dont forget the settings for proof, it aint GS or CB, or anyother cheating device.

Either way, Im still the FISRST, in the club, hoping for more members soon.
