So far all of the V8s and V10s sound awesome. đź‘Ť

I don't agree. Check this and compare with game. The game has no V10 distinctive sound, probably sound from totally different engine. GT4 has very good V10 sound for M5, but both Vipers were very weird sounding and this saga continues.

TheMoose: If you get some time, maybe a vid of the TVR Tuscan, or maybe a replay Vid of the Corvette...i like hearing the flyby's
EDIT: Just watched the Top Gear vid of the C6 Z06, and the exhaust sound incar in the game is VERY similar to the Top Gear video....i'm impressed.
Here's a Replay video of the Corvette in London
the car sounds just fine, go see top gear, and you cant really hear it from the inside.. yes its a v12... but its not as loud as ppl may think
There's just something missing in every sound byte I've heard yet, the deepness, which I believe can't be caught on film really.
I have a 5.1 surround system, I'm pretty sure it'll sound great.

TVR Speed 6 London Cockpit view
Good videos, Moose. đź‘Ť
A little something I noticed - not really a biggie. The action for shifting is delayed because he only moves his arm quickly as soon as you shift on the steering wheel/controller. In Test Drive Unlimited, the driver's arm automatically moves to the shifter when the car's nearing the red line, so the shifting looks a lot better and smoother. It's the same for downshifting as well. It would be great if they change it to that.
so what the deal...the drivers hands stay on the wheel at all times? even when shifting?
waaaaack..if thats the case.
gt4 had same feature, near redline he moved his hand.. this is only Prologue im sure they fix it by full release of GT5.
Ooh! Ooh! I wanna hear the Lancia Delta as well! Would be much appreciated!
There was no Cockpit view in GT4.. what are you on about mate?
I think that's a key point most developpers who try to create a "simulation" forget. Its all about "Credibility" rather then "realism".
Guns in games and movies very rarely sound "realistic", but they sound mighty fine. Same with car engines... The tire squeelz of GT4/5 are very close to real life, but it doesn't sound "exciting" enough. The Engine noise is the same as well... they should "push it" a little... make the muscle cars roar a little bit more, make the ferraris a little bit whinnier, the V8's more muscular and speedy and so forth... anyways, just an observation.
