I actually tried some tunes with intermediates too, but to make them possible i always reduced ECU or put ballst on, resulting in being too slow. So, i'm gonna try your Lambo. Do you change tires on pit or stay in IMs?
It won’t let you switch from IMs unfortunately. Not sure why

For Alpine A110 72' i have some plans because after last update , it's possible to set the car without messing with mixed compounds. Like the Dino.
For the rest , i've already tested the cars during last monthes and they are or bugged or slow or dull , no fun.... so they are taking some dust in my garage for the moment. I can check again to refresh my memory but i'll not do any promise.
Hey Boss, this 'Boss" has mixed compounds. Did this one get improved?

Yeah, I did not realize how strange this car is. 200kg in the front and weight balance is 37:63! Crazy.
Okay, back to the Veneno for a minute...I misread this the first time. Praiano's tune has 200kg in the back not the front, so it makes sense that braking carefully is necessary. I don't get it though, 200kg in the back of a MR car...it's genius to even try it, let alone get it to work.

Just a fun drivable tune , stock is horrible all over the place. I just did some extreme settings to hang on the driving line , hard springs , full tighted LSD . Here is it. Very fun on turny track , No top speed on this car anyway , oriented for fun.

Sure it can be better just a bit spending more time on it , but i was happy on the wheel , without weird moves , very good fun car.

I gotta try this! Think you can do something with the Tundra?

It doesn’t help. It’s the same without it. The handling is good, but it doesn’t help the braking. I have tried many times with and without. Once again, it’s my favorite car and I think his tune is great, but I know how to work around it. it is what it is with the braking. I have two. One with stage four weight reduction. That doesn’t help either.

Ok, will try that one, i didn't use it yet, because you wrote about shifting, so i thought its made for manual shifting.

thanks for the advice, will tell later how it worked out.

@praiano63
Update: So i tried the NSX. The topspeed is quite nice with 300+ km/h, but corners are so hard to do, it almost doesn't turn. I'm doing 2:16 to 2:20 laps and on lap 9 i was already over 30 seconds behind first place. I guess i'm just not good enough for the race, even on easy. On top of that i got bumped into the wall by AI and got a 5 second penalty which is a neck breaker for me.

Maybe there is another tune with sport hards and better corner abilities?

If not, i'll just skip this race and throw the towel. :D

I also found this with the updated tune. Picked up so many penalties understeering into the wall! The previous tune was brilliant though.

@Badfish 2
Damn, i just found out, that your Lambo costs 3.6 million to buy, haha. Thats 5 Tokyo Races to even get it, i guess i'll have to pass on that one. :D

Maybe another Lambo works too?

All Lambos, especially those tuned by Praiano, work well and win easily at Tokyo rain event. the LP 640 is probably the fastest. But for a real massacre, take the Huracan GR4, put on a nice street livery, get a bigger turbo, racing gearbox and SH tyres. Fiddle with the ride height and Aero and adjust ECU to be at 531 HP. then go race. I win by over 30 seconds everytime, even after the last updates. i use a controller on hard setting and can manage a fastest lap at 2.09. The 640, 700 and 750 are a bit slower in lap times than this. another great car for Tokyo rain is the Maclaren 650S with Praiano tune at 605 HP.

Hello Mr Praiano, do you have any plans to revisit your JDM tunes after the latest update? Like Supra Mk4, R32, NSX?

Thank you for all your tunes and making this game great, cheers!

My best lap time in this race is 2:06 , regular 2:07 out of traffic. Some aliens or normals fasters drivers can go low easy. If you lap 2:16 to 2:20 means that you need practice. The car is one of the fasters no doubt.
Stay away from walls , if you want the car turn more , low the front ride height nno need new tune. But you will lose top speed doing this. More front grip increase PP , need to low HP so less speed. You can't have everything.

They are still ok in my opinion. I'm on some broken cars that i did already , but the last update can turn them better .

@praiano63

So far, i get the feeling, that my best tries were with subaru WRX Gr.B road car, NSX and Nissan GTR 17. Out of those 3, NSX is fastest you say? And do you see a potential Tokyo Rain Tune in the GTR 17 NISMO? Or ist the normal GTR 17 better anyway?

thanks for all your help and advices. :)

Update:
Mr. Praiano, i did it, i really won. With your GTR 17 i could finally do it. Hard work though, and only by like 2 seconds, but i finally won. Thank you. Now i will never do this again and just grind for money with Tomahawk, lol.

The tomahawk is so hard to drive now with how you have to tune it and on comfort tires. Especially, with damage how it is now. It’s not even enjoyable. I did it once since the latest update and hated it.

I dream about money maker on a track like Nordschleife. Very tired on the 3 available tracks actually. The only one where i still have fun is tokyo +-.

So so so true. Its the one track that most people don't mind driving over and over again because of its length and variation. Plllllllllllease PD, give us a high paying 3 lap Nordschleife race!!!

Ferrari 512 BB '76 - 600PP - Sport Medium tires - All around
Excelent car well balanced , I've put a few ballast at the front , just to give stability during quick changes of direction at high speed. Like "Eau rouge" , the car wer very difficult to controll and it was maintain the maximum speed . But , the good MR behaviors are still there. Very fast 600PP , top 5 more or less in this range . All are very close talking about performance.

I love this livery , when you select one , there is no information about who did this. If somebody know the person who did this livery , give him my compliments. Bravo.

Enjoy your drive.
Thank you our friend Praiano, all your set ups are so awesome! It doesn't matter who puts them on their car, the set up will help a driver get 'in the hunt' at any track. Some drivers will make minor adjustments to a Praiano tuneto make the car react to their driving style BUT it is your set ups that help us get into the mix. Some cars we discover require some absolutely wild adjustments you share with us, settings for me I would never in my wildest dreams have put on the car,, they're just too strange - BUT I trust your set ups and put those wild (seemingly) settings and I exclaim to myself "Well I'll be damned,, he's made the car drive like a dream,,, again!"
I and I am certain many, many other players of this awesome game turn to Praiano Tuning Garage and you never fail to come up with an amazing set up. I do not have any idea how you do it but you uncover the secrets that make a car go from almost an UNmanageable nightmare to a car we don't want to park because they're so much FUN to drive. Thank YOU again, Thank YOU!

Hopefully, you have one.
Haha, of course i don't, lol. But thats okay, time to get the money, then.

Right now I'm gonna try the huracan GR.4 for fun.

Yes, it's a bit wild and like skates on ice, but with tips from this forum i can manage by now. just did a 22,5 minutes race with it. So satisfying flying by the AI waving. I flew in one of them with high speed, just to avenge my penalty from another race, lol.

Very stable and fast without ballast and Rear wing.

Is anyone else having trouble matching the PP on this? Mine is sitting on 559PP and I’ve copied everything exactly …. Where’s the extra 9PP coming from?

Tokyo 600pp

Best time 2.05 with my bad level
This car need more front grip to be very effective but how to improve that without loosing power.... I don't know 🤷, despite everything this car is very pleasant to drive on this race.

try it guys and tell me what you think
Hope you enjoy as much as me 😉

This was really nice. First round i was 2nd with +5 seconds and a bad penalty in 11th lap. But second race i changed gearbox a bit and then won with 26seconds in front!! Not because the car is extremely fast or well at cornering, but because, i could do a no pit race with a mix of FM2 and 3(one round) and still get 2:15 laps (which is good for my skill) and topspeed around 300 km/h on the straight. Really beautiful car. :)

My favourite by far for this track.

I’m going to try that Huracan GT4 car too, but I’m only cautiously optimistic because I haven’t had the best success with Gr4 cars. I like a detuned GR3 or a GRB rally car better. I personally think the Subaru GRB rally car is way better on road than the GRB road car, but many don’t agree. It has way more power and better economy at low PP and I know how to control it.

I’m glad you won at Tokyo BTW!

What i did is this:
Bought car, sports hard, ECU, Racing Gearbox and high turbo. Then i changed body height front to 91, rear to 85. Downforce front to 150, rear to 286 and ECU 96. That was a little below 600pp. Then after a first test race, I changed transmission top speed to 200 and then final gear to 3.275.

With FM 2 and 1 or 2 Laps on 3, i could do no stop race.

I just tried it and it’s a good car. I had to stop halfway through to deal with some other stuff, but I can win with it. Funny, my setting are very similar.
Ride height- 95F/86 rear. 150/300 on downforce and 98% power. I’m still playing with the gear ratios. SH tires. Don’t try ballast, or at least not front ballast. It’s not worth it. It screws up the handling.

I think i still try to get the 3.6M Lambo, to try and compare.

Where did you see this? I couldn't find it.
You can also do the same with the Evo GR4, very fast. Check under Praianos 700PP tunes for the Maclaren 650S with RH tires. Then put on SH tires and lower the ECU to get under 600PP. you can also increase the ride height, to decrease PP, and then increase HP. The 650S is very fast overall. You also have to try the LP640 Lambo with the Praiano tune it is also very fast. I generally use a 135 front and 130 rear ride height to dramatically drop PP without decreasing performance. Congrats and Good Luck.

I’d imagine he’s talking about the Mclaren Gr4 650s. It’s available in the new car showroom. $350k, not bad. Maybe the road car. Both are available for purchase.

Mclaren Gr4 650s
I bought the normal 650S and did what you said Dehein. Its quite ok, i could win, but only with 2 seconds in front, since i had to do 1 pitstop mid race. So for me the Gr.4 Lambo is better. Maybe the GR.4 McLaren is the same, i don't know. Gonna save money and buy the Lambo once i have an invitation. But i won't try other Lambos.
You can also do the same with the Evo GR4
What car is this?
