Hey been using your GR Yaris tune, been going fantastic so far!
Is there any plans on tuning the BMW Z8 01'? Would really love to see a suspension tune, I just can't seem to get it right...

weathertech gr3
Laguna Seca ? GR3 ? No specific . But any car GR3 can go there just need a gerbox for it.;)
sir Praiano, I have made the account just for you. The only post I am looking for here. I love your tune, in fact, I almost bought all the cars u have posted. However, I love the stability of those car, good on corners but I feel so slow on straight, almost every car beats me on straight. Are you tunes for AI only or it still works well with PVP like sport mode?

I have a request if you don't mind, can you tune a maxed-out car like a McLaren p1 for fun to use.
I would love to do a setting for P1 , need credits ... soon.

First i'd bought this car , so much power , no downforce .... I tought that perhaps it was a waste of a lot of credits for this.
Then i decide to spend a lot more transforming it in a race car. It work very well. This is a fantastic machine to drive around any track , fast or more than a GR3 , great precision , safe after adding some ballast 45/55 repartition weight. One more 100% Marvel.
Wide body , rigidy , aero parts.... needed of course.

Great tune. Hated this car until seeing your tune, thanks abunch

I haven't found any way to minimize the snap oversteer out slow corner. Whitout killing the eagerness , front grip.....
if you down the rear ride height you gain some PP but you kill it in corners.
If low rear suspension same thing....
I prefer to pay attention only in those conditions.
Must be a way....
Maybe the rear suspension lower then the Front?

Hello @praiano63

first of all impressive what you are doing here.. really great art and my full respect for it.

I would like to ask you if you have the time and desire to take a look at the KPGC10 (Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R). With maximum tuning I managed to make it reasonably mobile, but overall its handling and performance is still far from what I think it should be able to do.
My test lap is Deep Forest for the car only with Tcs on 1 I can do a maximum of 1:32,xxx
with ASM and counter-steering assistance, 1:30.xxx have been in it so far, but even then you can tell that he could and wants to be even faster, but the swerving rear end and the extremely bad brakes don't allow it.
I've been working on it for over 10 hours now, but can't find anything that really works.

You might find something... or the car really doesn't work anymore, but I hope not.

Maxi

Hello. I don't have the car . What power over what tires are you talking about ?
Sometime overpowered road car without downforce are not faster than lower power cars , because you can't use all his capacity.

Custom gearbox settings

Like in others GT but a lot easier , no need of any weird trans flip technique....

To taylor a gearbox for a specific track , check both torque and power curves to define your RPM optimum shifting point.

#Set 1 st gear for a better accel out the slower corner (Hairpin or else) or for grid start

#Set last gear for the longer straight with a few more extra speed for stream.

#Set some intermediary gears for importants turns. Sometime you need to shift a lower gear to gain RPM and extra grip. Also out of a corner with right RPM for a powerfull car to not upset the rear end....

That's it. Goood luck..

About LSD Initial torque . This graph is explaining very well.
Let's say the yellow line represent the lower number of the setting 05 in GT
The blue line would represent the max value of the setting 50 in GT.
Soft or brutal throttle input .

I don't know if the game will allow you to use it. I love the R32 too , i would love to have one .... soon.

I'm finishing a Honda NSX R '02 for Deep forest for this week , this is my first setting for GT7 with the features and physics of GT7 .....

Hi brotha! Wanna thx you for ur setup! Hope u can do more for 500, 700 and 800pp! R33, black series and some other beast!

Continue! Have a nice day bro!

Great tunes, best in the business of GT for you Mr. Praiano. I am still struggling to finish the 800 races with 4 different cars that I have tuned from your list. however, what some guys don't mention is which setting they are racing on, Easy, Medium, or Difficult. I'm trying to stay on difficult to challenge myself, and this is why I am not finished yet. I have used your tunes, as they are the best, since GT5. Thanks for your work it's fantastic. I'm also on PS4 waiting for the PS5 someday. no wheels just a controller.

PS I used the Focus GR.B in the 730 and 700 with only a lowered suspension and weight distribution at 50/50, this worked very well for me. The G70 also goes well, but the fuel usage on the Focus Rally car was really good, and it could do more laps with power on 1 in the fuel map.

@praiano63 Quick update on the Testarossa, haven't found the reason why I don't have the same stability values and PP, but I in doing some testing I found that the rim size does affect PP. Only slightly for the Testarossa, but it does affect it, apparently only when changing from the stock wheelsize which is 16″ to any other as 17, 18 and 19 had the same PP for the Testarossa.

I didn't test any other car though, just a heads up for you to add the wheel size to your tunes to avoid confusions in that area in the future.

Good to know. Lately , i don't try to understand or looking for PP bugs. They are too much. A single clic on suspension setting or limiter can move down or up 10 to 20 PP . Ridiculous . I'm just waiting the day when PD publish an update for it.
Till then , i enjoy a lot the GT7 driving sensations till now.

Yaris ? Need to finish it yet. This brake bug kill me . I hope they fix it soon.
I've been testing it, since I wanted to use it for the Asia-Oceania Championship. Didn't want to dump money into another car since I already started using this Yaris earlier.
I changed some of the gear ratios, I haven't been having to much of an issue thus far with breaking.
I have ABS on but everything else turned off.

Hello Praiano,
I've been following your Activities since early GT5 and you're by far the best tuner. Maximum respect for your efforts, mate, even more after your stroke! You have done so much for the GT Community, not only the tunes that you made, but also competent information about many issues and 'need to knows'... 👍 A big Thank You for that.
Now, after 8 years of passive watching I will finally do my first post, hahaha.

I'm also in love with MR Cars and wanted to ask if you can do a tune for the Alpine 110 '17.
Besides that I also would like to know which of the old Porsche 911 RS are the best. In GT Sport I had the most fun with the 911 RS CS '95. That car was perfect for me, you could do anything with it, such a dream to drift and drive. It drove nearly like a real car.
I have the 964 RS '92 and the 993 RS '95. Don't exactly know if the 993 RS CS '95 is also in the game, I desperately hope so.

Keep up with your fantastic work, my friend :)

The best GT car ever. This setting is much more than perfect. It was hand's god who do this setting.
I will never touch one millimeter of the suspension , balance , .................... NOTHING !!:bowdown::bowdown:
Take it today on the ring , you'll never stop driving .
Everybody need to buy this car. It's worth it any credit spent. Believe me.

What tires are you using? With the stock tires it brakes and turns like a dairy cow especially at low speed.

Porsche 911 (930) Turbo '81- 650 PP - Sport or Racing tires - All around

Ma---ra---vi---lhosa . I love the sensation to put the front wheel where i want. I use it with the 4 gears stock gearbox or a 5 gears custom racing gearbox.
Wide Body
Front aero part and skirt , i've take it out after for question of style , but the front downforce numbers stay .... ok
Rear aero type A ( Still stylish
I've put the anti lag system but i didn't use it . Up to you.
Weight of the car is 1170 kg. Homage to the RUF Yellow bird , next generation car.

Enjoy your drive.

Another fantastic tune! Thank you, so much fun!

Small changes I did for a 700pp race around the ring (Schwarzwald League). 1 inch larger wheel, wide and wide offset wheels, hard racing tires, no ballast. Easy 60k for a fun lap around the ring!

I've used the car only 1 time. I'm very busy with or problematics cars in the game. This one don't need my services.:lol: I'll drive it again soon in my PS5 and the news graphics tonight if the game will be loaded till there.

Mercedes AMG GT3 '16 - 730 PP - Racing hard tires - All around (SPA Gearbox)
The car is almost perfect with originals settings. This is the one i'll select for the next manufacturer for sure. I've just added some of my touch to feel the car more safe , faster , around 8 kmh more end of straight at SPA and more precise adding some front downforce increasing front grip.
For the gearbox :
Set top speed autospeed minimum 200 kmh
Set final gear to the number writen on sheet
Set each gear tatios.

Perfect. Was going to be my next buy.

I've just been playing with the settings on the skyline again.. it's getting a little better, but still not consistent.

It was interesting when I reduced the downforce of the front...

First the 240 km/h value for G force clearly went down.
At 100 kg I had 1.72g
this value kept going down, even down to just 1.08 g at 240 km/h. Suddenly by 50kg downforce he rose again to 1.72g, which is actually illogical.

I didn't check those numbers yet. First we have to believe they are ok.... with all those bugs allround. I trust first to my speedometer and chronometer
The numbers they are showing are not logical at all. Taking out PP to put HP instead is a real casino game. Sometime you don't do a setting because it's better for the car but better for PP go down. I hope they fix all this. Like i've said another day , they have to turn more simple. No PP for tires , gearbox .... Only Power/torque x downforce ... i don't know . Simple.
This way , the time to fix all this stuff , we will have to buy GT8.

Porsche 911 GT3 (997) '09 - 650 PP - Sport soft tires - All around

What a car for the "Porsche Cup" for example. Perfect line , huge grip , sane ,no surprise even under wet condition , you'll have some rain during 2 races. I'm in love really , a real pleasure to pilot.

EDIT: You can gain PP and power (top Speed) , increasing the ballast value, remembering to replace it on the right position on the car to have the same repartition 44/56. Up to you ,i prefer grip , it's only a base tune.

WIDE BODY ON.

I love your tunes, thank you very much for all your efforts.
I can't set those aerodynamics, only 180/250. Any suggestions?

You can anything. This is just a sane base setting. A new starting point . Save it and try . If not ok , come back to base. Normally , the performant is optimum. Now you can taylor it for your own preferences. Good luck.
