Hi Laurent, our challenge track for October is Dragon Trail, in Gr2. If you’re at all familiar with it, any chance of tweaking the Nismo ‘16, if you have one?

Seems to be the fastest so far, though I might try a few more laps in the NSX Concept. It’s a great little track!
Hello. Yes i can check it . What are the specs for this event ?

Lovely, thank you! We can use any Gr2 car, set up as we like, with any assists, but no nitrous. Straight time trial, on the regular Seaside track, at 9.30am.

Nismo seems to be best, with NSX and both Lexus cars also performant.

There should be a replay of my quickest lap on my page.

For time attack. I didn't set the Anti lag but it's up to anybody to do this. It don't change the settings at all.

Here it is. I'm 1:23.8xx with it , but i'm not specialist at all on this track. I also TC1 to manage wheel spin , i can't control any thing with G29.... :banghead: :banghead: Soon . DD Wheel.;)

So, no specialist, you say? You’ve taken half a second off my quickest time Laurent!! A time I haven’t got near since 🤦‍♂️

Very good. But also, not.

Now I have work to do.. 😉

Honda NSX Concept-GT '16 - Maxed - Racing Soft Tires - Dragon Trail - 1.39

To @Flamingo for time attack. .A bit more technical to drive on Dragon Trail but faster than Nissan , just take care with the kerbs when you give a strong wheel input. This car can shave 0.500 on GTR but i didn't nail all the track with it to valid.

Ooh! That’s very generous of you, thanks 🙏

I’ve tried the Nismo. It’s quick, no doubt, but seems a little reluctant on initial turn-in - maybe that’s just me?

Front downforce is the same as I was using already, but rear downforce is much lower at 900, compared to the 975 I was using. So maybe a little skippier at the back, but definitely faster on the straights.

ARB settings are higher, I was using 5 and 3, with the car 5 lower at the front. I’d thought, as the car is lowered, ARB can be eased off. Have I got that wrong?

Last question! Switching to medium rpm turbo gives slightly better acceleration and a higher 150mph rotational G. I’m wondering what is the reason you prefer a high rpm turbo?

I will never understand all this tuning stuff completely, but I may as well try to grasp a few pieces here and there. My questions are only a reflection of my ignorance, not your fine work 🙏

Hello Laurent, I've been using your setups for quite some times now, you are truly a master at this. I was wondering if the Sung Kang's GReddy Fugu Z shouldn't need a new tweak from your magic touch. I think the swapped engine could be fun for Tokyo rain, no pit maybe. Thanks in advance from a cousin from Quebec !!

I'll publish it later.

Suzuka V6 Escudo Pikes Peak SP '98 - 600PP - Comfort Soft tires - Tokyo Rain event - 1.38

Rims up to you - Width Wide - Offset Wide

Still excelent for Tokyo even if the car is slower than before (pre 1.30 update)
Need to re-learn the track , later braking marks and later turning points. Huge grip. Shift at 8000 RPM.

I just drove it yesterday but it seems like the top speed is a bit slow to pull off from Top 6, is this car setting not a straight beast but focus more on corners? Thx, as I may have to find another way to push since I was used to drive as a straight beast here with Escudo, but with horrible tyre wear

Did you check the bug that allow to use full power ?

Ah not yet, sorry, will it be faster? Since the top speed is not over 300km/h with you tune (Still a masterpiece for grip), but I tried before with very horrible tyre wear and I find it so understeer (with others tune from youtube), gonna try with your tune later

Silly question, but for what race are these tunes for?

I really thought that would have made a great 600 tokyo rain build tho don't you think ?
Yes you can use same chassis settings for 600PP. Just need to take the turbo out. There is a bug with it and you can't reduce PP.
With Sport Hard it's +305kmh but the rear grip is not so good.(wheel spin).
With Sport medium it's a top 600PP car anywhere. I prefer it for Tokyo also for the S bends. It's a no stop car with FM 1 .
A real pleasure. Or for Nordschleife...perfect.

Yea, no problem.. maybe a lucky roll on the roulette wheel will come your way. Like everyone else, I appreciate your time and effort into making these tunes. Thanks again

Not a silly question at all.

A few months ago, me and two friends decided we needed a new GT focus. We’d hit a plateau with our favourite reference track, Spa. So we started working on a different track each month. Time trial, fastest gets to pick the next month’s track and specs.

It’s been working quite well, I have to say

Bugatti Chiron '16 - 800PP - Racing Soft Tires - All Track (Grip settings) - 1.39

Rim Width Wide
Parts:
Front B
Side A
Wing Custom

Not ok for Sardegna due to consumption , or use FM6. Excelent on turny fast track like SPA or Nordschleife....

Hello, Laurent! First of all thank you for all your amazing tunes and support! I’ve been using your setups for the past two months and they are spot on!

Let me just ask if is possible to have a tune on the Porsche 911 GT3 997 ‘09 with the NA swapped engine for the Tokyo 600PP track.

Best regards!

Top speed is not so good just medium , but the grip is really superior. Not ok for Le Mans due to huge gas consumption .Perfect for the Nordschleife ( just take care of the kerbs) or SPA , Suzuka..... A real pilot car.

Do you think this swap has potential at 800? I used your suspension settings from the no swap version for 700 version with swap
