Maestro, somehow I managed to miss important rules for our challenge this month: no #hypercar and 800PP limit.

I know, it’s a mystery 😬

My mate is pulling a 1:14.011 on Maggiore East in his SV-15, on TC0. I have no idea how!

It’s a real pilot track - I’m struggling.

Any recommendations for car or tune to try?
SV-15 is not an hyper car ? What is a hyper car ????
My older SV-15 setting was my faster 800PP on Nordschleife , i did a single 1 lap from my hamoc with the pad controler (i'm very bad with it) lap 1:12.9xx.
I've had a flue since 1 january so i'm playing very few. I'll check later.... with my fantastic wheel.;)

Well, I found out too late (about 4m credits late) that the Valkyrie was a road car AND a hypercar. Hashtags on car settings 🤦‍♂️

The SV-15 is the last #roadcar in the Lambo lineup, then they’re #racing.

1:12 on Maggiore East? On a pad??

While you wait for the Maestro to chime in, I gave this a shot. Since this is easily one of my weakest tracks that I struggle on, I figured I could use some practice on Lake Maggiore. I tried a handful of different cars I have had success with on other tracks and here are my results. Did no more than 10 laps with each car and I also couldn't manage to beat that lap time. I think utilizing these same 5 cars, a more experienced player could catch that 1:14.

1:18.31 - Audi RS 5 Turbo DTM '19 - 800PP - Racing Medium Tires - All Tracks - 1.31
1:18.41 - Ferrari F40 '92 - 800PP - Racing Soft Tires - SPA / All track - Swap -
1:20.19 - McLaren P1 GTR '16- 800PP - Racing Medium tires - All track-1.41 -
1:22.43 - Chevrolet Corvette C7 Gr3 - WTC 800 PP - Racing Soft tires - All Track - 1.41
1:17.48 - Bugatti VGT 800 PP -

The Audi DTM was recommended to me for Spa and it was dominant there. Was one of the better ones here too. I assumed the Bugatti was a hypercar but it is not. It also has DRS so you can use the nitrous button with that one. Which I think was the small difference that allowed me to edge out my Audi lap time.
Thank you for that, very kind.

Sadly, I think of all those the F40 might be the only one that’s a European Road Car (not a #racing) and also not a #hypercar.

Current month’s rules are: European #road car, 800PP limit, no VGTs, no #hypercar, no nitrous, assists ABS and TC ONLY.

The F8 Tributo isn’t bad, she turns nicely.

Aww. European Road car makes a difference. If it was just no Hypercar there are only 4 cars with that tag. Valkyrie, Vulcan, Veneno and FXX K '14

Yeah. He’s made it deliberately difficult. He wanted the three of us not to all end up with the same car, on a track that demands more driving skill than just knowing where the brake points are 🙄

To make your life easier you can click on the magnifying glass icon in the top left of your garage. Then choose "Select by Car Type"

This will allow you to only view Road Cars

Audi R8 seems to be the most forgiving in my opinion as it is one of the available 4WD cars.
Porsche is potentially faster but really nervous on the accelerator.

Does anyone happen to have any tunes for the Porsche and Redbull weekly challenge events? Specifically for the Porsche a 700pp tune...I'd be much obliged 😁

That is the one I refer to. With such a high PP for road cars, I imagine this will be a handul of power, and then having all 4 wheels to bring it to the track seems to be an advantage to me.
Though I dont know how it will actually fare within this field of competition, I usually avoid Lambo and Audi as I cant handle their Gr.3 cars and I am not interested in their roadcar lineup.

Is this a monthly challenge between you guys or is it in the game? I don’t see it.

Would you use this setup for Sardegna as well?
No , not performant. Sardegna no need lateral grip (Downforce ) but top speed and acceleration.

This last online time attack with the old supra is so boring ... What an horrible car when stock. I'd forgot how bad it was , understeer is killing the car. I doubt a lot that this car was so bad in real live. Horrible stock setting from PD , note ZERO !

So I assumed I was using a Praiano tune, but I just checked and I have no idea where I got mine from. Honestly, the tuning I used was doing nothing for me to overtake anyone in the race. So I purchased Nitrous and set its output to 25%. I was downshifting a lot to get in the higher RPMs and using Nitrous to boost. I overtook the leader on the last corner of the last lap to take 1st. Tough race and you may have an easier time with Praiano's tune, but still employing the Nitrous.

*I'm going to keep my Ballast and Computer settings to get to the 700pp but going to try changing to Praiano's Suspension and Differential settings and will report back if I see improvement.

Enjoy your drive.
Great tune Maestro! Solid as a rock!
Thanks for this it saved me credits on spending for a newbie Porsche.

Hope that helps in making you feel better. Thank you for your settings!
I'm just happy that my hobby is helping a lot of GT Players. I feel good with this of course. I'm very grateful about all the fellow donators who allow me to play this game since such a long time.
I also know that i don't own a real car or even a single bike , or even a real garage to park my reals toys.
I also know that some people are making a lot of money with my garage like Polyphony Digital or even Sony......
Sometime i think i could have a safer and comfortable future for an all my live self employed 61 year old man , just thinking loud.

I found a 700pp Porsche tune in Exeter’s tuning thread, it gave me a pretty comfortable win on medium difficulty.
