I have 3 GT 500 tuned till now, i just have to finish the "SUPRA CERUMO".
I don't understand 1 thing.

Lexus denso : 529 hp / 1100 kg / 611 pp

Arta NSX : 529 hp / 1100 kg / 610 pp

Nissan Y.hat: 529 hp / 1100 kg / 619 pp

Why this diference with same weight// same tires// same HP// ,same downforce....?????

GT5 secrets??? or simply one more mistake ???

The Nissan GT-R would be much faster, that's why.
Could be that the game calculates it with a grip number or that PD just set it like they think what a good balance would be.

I run the 3 yesterday at suzuka online with R1 tires, Nissan 1'59"050 // NSX arta 1'59"400 // Lexus denso 1'59"400.

I don't remember the time with R3 tires last time, but the Honda is faster with this tires...

Lexus and Nissan are safer with R1 for shure,like a train.

Hi, yes i do the same with it yesterday and i pass first lap number 4, i think i was 1'01".02" per lap something like this, the car was perfect for the event, i didn't make a shorter gears ,go like this long one.

Hi, Yes my friend, after the last upate, all the gears boxes from everybody who do this update stay like this.
I have around 80 cars i my garage to correct or to do again. It will be quick ,i'll correct the GTR when i'll go home later.
Sorry for this. Thanks to GT5 thinkers and others brains that help to do this mess, again. More to come??

i dont know if this is a big help for you but maybe you don't have to correct all your rear ratios of every car - and maybe it is possible to adapt only the "top speed" value

To have a gear box the way i like , i need the 1 st full left on the panel and the 5 or 6 full right on the panel. all the others intermediary are spreaded proportionaly. I will do this, not dificult but need time, +- 80 cars....
During this time i'll edit a "how to do " with pics at the begining of my garage.
Like for the "ONLINE OK TUNE" i'll write beside the transmission setting a "OK" in red.

it is "how to find" the gear ratios - and i think all "new" tunes will be there again
but it seems to me: the change of the topspeed changes also spread and shift the possible gear ratios - and you have already found the "good" ratios - the transmission won't change - the final gear ratio is the same too - so this won't change the "gearing" - because of this strange change from PD the "old" gearratios are not at the "correct place" of the possible values - but i think - this blemish does not harm already found rear-ratios

Hi my friend, Sport soft ? This car is already tuned for sport soft !!! Check the post https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=5318773#post5318773
To low the PP to 530 , just use the power limiter, this is the best way,don't raise the weight, the suspensions works well with this one. I think it's all you need to do.

For everybody who use my tunes or others tunes and have problems with their transmission, here is a simple way to have a perfect gear box.

For who asked me what i mean by graduations ......:

BY "GRADUATIONS" I MEAN DIVISIONS , 10 DIVISIONS IN THE SETTING PANEL. SORRY FOR THAT, HOPE IT'S OK NOW .


First the 6 gears box:

1- reset default settings

2-select a top speed +- 30 kmh above the speed you want to reach.

3-moove the setting of 6 gear full right graduation 10 or 100%. You will have your top speed above on the right. Repeat this operation till you reach the speed you need.

4- After that just spread the others gears like this 1 gear full left 0 graduation.

5- 2 gear 2 graduations

6- 3 gear 4 graduations

7- 4 gear 6 graduations

8- 5 gear 8 graduations

9- 6 gear is allready done at the beginning total right 10 graduations

Your 6 gear box is OK ready to use.

Now the 5 gears box

1- reset default settings

2-select a top speed +- 30 kmh above the speed you want to reach.

3-moove the setting of 5 gear full right graduation 10. You will have your top speed above on the right. Repeat this operation till you reach the speed you need.

4- After that just spread the others gears like this 1 gear full left 0 graduation.
Obs: with low power car if you do this ,you can have problem because the first gear is to long and not enough power to start from zero km/h or mp/h.
In this case put the first gear to division(graduation)1.

5- 2 gear 2.1/2 graduations

6- 3 gear 5 graduations

7- 4 gear 7.1/2 graduations

8- 5 gear is allready done at the beginning full right 10 graduations

Your 5 gear box is OK ready to use.

It work perfectly , after you'll do this 2 or 3 times ,it will be automatic and you will be able to tune any gear box in 15 seconds.

There is some variables that we will see later.​

Thanks for the tranny settings guide. Setting your desired top speed with the 5th or 6th gear box after setting the top speed at the bottom box was the step I wasn't doing. Makes sense now.

Yes my friend, the 7 gears box and others little variations i'll talk about later, but it's the same ,just have more gears to spread.
For the 7 you can put the 2 first totally left, 0 graduation, or you can make more close the 3 first or 3 last gears, everything is possible ,just take a look at the graphic, it must be balanced nothing out of the line. Harmonious. That's how a guy like me that don't like Math, set a gear box.
For the final gear, i didn't see any diference one side or the other. Left you have more ratios ,so more fine tuning... But this method is for anyone fix a gear box. Fine tuning is just another step that anybody can discover himself having this basic knowledges.

So final gear ,just use to set your max speed after your tune done. Can't moove again the final speed, if you do this ,everything have to be done, again.

When i talk about graduations, there is no numbers from 0 to 10 but there is ten gaps on the setting panel with half divisions each.

SUBARU IMPREZA SEDAN WRX STI ‘10 // ONLINE OK

This car is 6’45” / nurburgring / 550 pp / racing soft, like the people like to race. It’s 5” more slow than the BMW M3 CSL, a reference, but when you have a lot of racers tryng to make their way and slam and bump you all the time it’s not easy. With this car ,nobody take you out of therace or road, a real castle. But it’s very sharp , a lot of grip, no surprise….. Try it , you’ll adopt it I’m shure.

Very good ,i've done this the simple way as possible,for everybody tune his gearbox ,from my tunes and others also. It will take time to do again the +- 80 ...90 tunes after this patch put this mess in the tunes of everybody.
