Premium/Standard Cars: Now Appearing and list so far

There's a thread about the Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag and a bunch of comparison photos right here.

What I'm wondering is why they only add Standard cars of which there are already Premium counterparts (which is frankly pointless), if they're gonna add stuff from GT4 previously not included in retrospect through the OCD I've got a few other suggestions.

Auto Union V16 Type C Streamline 1937
Daihatsu Midget 1963
Ford Model T Tourer 1915

Okay, both the Ford and Auto-Union are opentop so perhaps an interior view needs to be added (they could go for a quick-fix Tank Car solution), but unlike the recent additions I'd welcome those 3 cars for a change (particularly the Model-T) with no DLC on the horizon.

PD probably haven't sorted out whatever licencing SNAFU got them pulled in the first place. I agree that I'd love to have the Standard cars pulled since GT3 (like the TS020 road car) to increase the car count rather than, say, the Miata duplicates; but they might not be in the game at all.

Pardon my ignorance guys, but...could someone explain the following to me please?

Every car available on GT PSP (apart from the M5 concept and the HSV cars) can be transferred to the game, hence, they are all standard and available on the UCD (eventually).

So, I ask you guys. What's the purpose of this thread? To list Premium cars that have a Standard counter part?

Because, if so, then there's no need to wait for them to appear on the OCD. As long as a GT PSP model shows up on the NEWCD of GT5, then there's you counter part standard model...right?

I don't mean to offend anyone, I am just a very confused pineapple...thank you!

I don't think you can obtain them through the GT mode through the PSP

They were only to be used in the arcade section of the game. Not sure since I never had the chance to import them. But when imported thats where they could be used?
Yet in GT mode you could have them has premiums to buy from the dealership.
But Link shows that I tried, And people explained that they now come has OCD cars which PD have started to implement into the game for people to collect or drive or do with what ever you like?

Eventually from what PD do am sure we,ll get the rest of the list off them.
Thats how PD rocks our world. Just mix it up for us to try and presume there next move.

HAH! Got it now!

I already knew that the PSP transferred cars only works on Arcade mode, but, I just assumed that with or without the transference, those standard models would eventually show up on the UCD.

I've been playing the game since day 1, and now that I think about it...none has ever showed up. Makes sense now. Thanks! 👍

As an interesting note, the standard Shelby Cobra is capable of appearing in an online Shuffle race.
