They track all sorts of things by syncing to the GPS in your sat nav and tapping into the microphone on any Bluetooth fitted device. The CIA, MI5 and Interpol all listen in and can follow you wherever you go.... :lol:

They merely act as a homing device in the car in case it is ever stolen. There's not much point removing it, it's a useful thing to have unless your a master criminal.

I actually for a moment thought that you weren't joking. But funny joke about paranoid fringe theory always is good to hear

I still think that those systems can easily be confused and removed.

What about black boxes in case of crash?

Road cars don't have a black box as such. In a heavy impact the speedometer can stick at the speed of the crash and I speculate high end cars might store some telemetry data used for adaptive suspension and other driver aids.
