This'll be a fun week for my Steelers. Ravens on Saturday and then a 3 day turnaround for the Chiefs on Wednesday (Netflix).

Merry Christmas I guess.

Yeah, but don't forget that the Texans, Chiefs, and Ravens are all part of this quick stretch. It's going to be tough for all three aforementioned teams.

Now on to tonight. The AFC West is in vogue and on display when the Denver Broncos will head west to meet the Los Angeles Chargers. Denver came off of stymieing the Indianapolis Colts, which in essence, gave the Houston Texans the AFC South Championship and put the Pittsburgh Steelers into the Playoffs. Denver trying to help their postseason cause again with this upcoming match at the Chargers.

Enjoy tonight's game!

I saw earlier today there was a story saying the Jets nixed a trade for Jerry Jeudy because his Madden rating wasn't high enough according to Woody Johnson's sons Brick & Alex. If this is true Woody Johnson is worst than I thought.
Two things Joe Douglas was quoted earlier in the year saying he reports to a teenager which I thought meant Woody Johnson but maybe it was one of his sons. I understand if he wants to have his sons takeover one day but they should have no input on player trades.
What's next using the ESPN trade machine to figure out who you should trade for? The other thing is who leaked this? Aaron Rodgers said earlier this year that there are some leaky faucets or one leaky faucet but I took that with a grain of salt.
That said if this is true it somehow makes the Jets look even worst than they already do if that was even possible. In my hands Woody Johnson has taken the baton from David Yepper and he reestablished himself as the worst owner in the NFL if not North American sports

College usually rules Saturdays; but this Saturday, the NFL wants to entertain you with two games today while college football is ongoing. Today, it is the following:

  • HOU Texans at KC Chiefs
  • PIT Steelers at BAL Ravens

Enjoy today's NFL action!

I knew the Houston Texans were going to fail today at the Kansas City Chiefs, and I was right. The Texans failed 27-19 in a Playoff-intense game. What really hurt was when Tank Dell caught a touchdown to bring the Texans closer, but got injured badly and had to be carted off of the field. That pretty much deflated the Texans further. It didn't help Ka'imi Fairbairn shanked the extra pointt that cour have tied the game. A team already up against it was even more so at that point. Oh, and remember former Texan DeAndre Hopkins? He's a Chief now. Stop the pain.

UP NEXT: vs. BAL Ravens (Christmas day)

Congratulations to all other winners this week. Terrible shame my Texans aren't among the WINNING teams this week.

The final Sunday before Christmas is today. You know the drill- watch your favorite team(s) compete while hearing lines like, "oh, baby, what a play!" Another hard-hitting Sunday is on tap. The nightcap for tonight is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys.

While I am still processing how the Texans could have upset the Chiefs rather than fall to them (and some bad calls from the refs) yesterday, enjoy today's games!

"Lions master stumble bum play in win." - ESPN.

First the Cheifs snowglobe trickery, now this? LOL, good fun!

God, that fake fumble has me going nuts. Ben Johnson walks a fine line between genius and madman. The man wanted Goff to actually fumble it:

The win today also puts the Lions at the most wins ever in a season for the franchise, which shows just how terrible they were since they've been around forever.

Shame the Vikings won, we could've used them losing. But at least the Commies came through and beat the Eagles in an incredibly sloppy game.

As a friend, congratulations on the job the Detroit Lions have done in 2024, Joey D. Every team will have their greatest seasons and worst seasons. I'm happy for the Lions considering all of the history they've had. Who knows where this team will end up once the Postseason plays itself out? Keep the good times rolling!

Saints at Packers TONIGHT!

We got 'dem Saints going up to the Frozen Tundra to meet the Green Bay Packers tonight. It's time to get you ready for this one.

--- GAME INFORMATION ---
THE NFC is in vogue tonight as the Saints meet the Packers.
  • NO Saints (5-9, 3rd in the NFC South) at GB Packers (10-4, 3rd in the NFC North)
  • FAVORED: GB (-14.5)
  • OVER/UNDER: 42.5 points

And there you have it. Looks like the Saints are in for an uphill battle, and I don't mean because of going well north to play. We all know "any given day" can happen. A team not given any sort of a chance can spring an upset and get the win. You may never know.

Enjoy tonight's game!

Thankfully Goff has a good head on his shoulders. Actually fumbling the ball is classic Pre-Campbell 'Lionsing', not no mo'! It was great hearing them call out, 'FUMBLE FUMBLE!' watching the replay.

Jets lose again. Not surprised though. Just waiting for the season to end. Nice to see the Panthers bounce back from that horrible game

Did any of you see Cincinnati's Joe Burrow stumble, yet still deliver a Touchdown to Tee Higgins? It almost reminded me of when DeShaun Watson on the Texans delivered a touchdown even as he was getting kicked in the eye against the (then) Oakland Raiders in 2019. Dolph Dragon's Cincinnati Bengals easily routed the visiting Cleveland Browns 24-6 on Sunday to improve to 7-8 and still have Playoffs hope.

Speaking of my Houston Texans, we picked up WR Diontae Johnson off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens. This is a good pickup to give the Texans some WR help after Tank Dell went down at the Chiefs.

I only got to see the highlights of the Bengals game. Burrow made a couple Houdini moves.

Stinks that Tank went down for you. I'd be a little worried picking up Diontae, though. Hasn't he been a bit of a headcase this year?

I don't know how he plays, so I can't answer that one, Dolph Drago.

As for Tank Dell, I watched a press conference on YouTube. I usually don't watch much press conference coverage. The one I saw featured CJ Stroud. In his conference, you could tell CJ Stroud suffered lots of heartbreak. He also said a bunch of religious things as well as some religious passages. I mean... CJ Stroud is such a man of faith. He's loved for more than his athletic abilities. CJ Stroud also was complimentary and chill about moving forward after the loss at Kansas City. Guess what else? This was from the Houston Texans' YouTube channel, and there were a lot of Chiefs fans pleased at how CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans were in the comments. It was just unwavering support and respect.

Wow- nobody's clinched their Division yet in the NFC? Pretty wild times, methinks. Again, congratulations to all of this week's winners!

The penultimate (next-to-last) week of NFL football for the 2024 NFL season is coming up. Week 17 has matches such as these:

* Christmas Day [on Netflix] has two matches with the AFC in vogue. It begins with the Kansas City Chiefs at the Pittsburgh Steelers, and then it goes to the Baltimore Ravens at my Houston Texans.

* The day after Christmas will see the Seattle Seahawks at the Chicago Bears.

* A tripleheader is coming up on Saturday. Leading that tripleheader is Los Angeles Chargers going cross-country to take on the New England Patriots. Dolph Drago's Cincinnati Bengals will host the Denver Broncos after that. The final game of Saturday will be the Arizona Cardinals at daan's Los Angeles Rams.

* Blitz24 and kjb's New York Jets will get into AFC East action when they try to spoil things at the Buffalo Bills.

* The New York Giants will host the Indianapolis Colts. If the Giants lose, they will be the first team in NFL history to finish with an 0-9 record at home (about 17 other teams finished 0-8 at home in a single season).

* NFC East action will happen in Philadelphia when the Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys.

* NFC South action will get underway when the Carolina Panthers visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

* Omnis' Miami Dolphins will head up to northeastern Ohio to take on the Cleveland Browns.

* The Green Bay Packers face a much tougher opponent than in their Monday Night game- Green Bay is at the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday.

* Sunday Night Football is an all-NFC affair as the Atlanta Falcons are at the Washington Commanders.

* Monday Night Football this week involves Joey D's Detroit Lions at the San Francisco 49ers.

Get ready for a new week! Enjoy this week's games!

The Houston Texans got embarrassment for Christmas in the form of a 31-2 whacking by the visiting Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson also set the all-time rushing yards by a quarterback record in NFL history. The Texans looked like an A-Tier team in their H-Town Blue uniforms today to S-Tier Baltimore. The Beyoncé Bowl Halftime Show had more energy than the Texans in this entire game. The Texans shown what happens when you are an above average team taking on an S-Tier team. This has been an unhappy holidays for the Texans.

UP NEXT: at TEN Titans

Congratulations to all winners this week! Hopefully your team(s) did much better than mine.
