I'm an offline player but, I have various cars tuned for production car racing. As the Bathurst 6hour http://www.speedcafe.com/2016/02/24/updated-bathurst-6-hour-entry-list-released/ approaches, I wanted to open up an idea for online players. Below is the confirmed list of 53 cars entered in this year’s race. I feel this would be a good series to run in, as the classes are varied. Seems like it was made for F6. With some vehicles not in the game and adding others in their relative classes, it's a win for all racers interested. Deleting 18 cars unavailable in F6, the grid still leaves 35 cars to choose from:

Deleting classes B2, E & I, still leaves a mix of good cars for multi class racing. Plenty of cars to lap in traffic as well as testing which cars are better on fuel.

A clear cut race event would have, A1(8), A2(4), B1(4), C(4) & D(4) classes. From there, sky is the limit to as many combinations to suit an event.

Just a suggestion that anyone can take over. If a Mod or a gtp member wishes to add to the thread, go right ahead.

Looks like an interesting series concept. Could make for a good series, but I think a simplified class structure and the inclusion of other cars on the roster could make it.

Class A for outright competitors, like the Lancer, SS and M4 and Class B for the hot hatches, 1M etc. The ability to upgrade on Forza would allow for a balanced field.

For sure. 24 cars, in any kind of grouping, is plenty to have a good series. As you mentioned, with the latest cars(2015, 2014) in the game and upgrading in each class, the choices are easy.

Seems like it's tougher for members to congregate on F6, as opposed to the GT6.

At least for me I never used to check this part of the forum, this online racing subforum specifically. I ended up forgetting it existed, the Forza community is pretty small too so you will have problems getting members to sign up. You could try tagging a few guys and see if they can tag their friends too, it was done on another FM6 thread recently and it worked a bit.

I'll tag a few guys and see whether it helps.

The regulars in the online community, would definitely have a good time in a series such as this. Even if it is a one-off.

Thanks for the tag @Fat Tyre I also don't check this subforum too often, I just get alerts from the threads I'm subscribed to.

I'd be interested in taking part in this series/one-off race of course depending on my availability.

Thank you for tagging me @Fat Tyre. 👍 Like you guys, I too don't frequent this part of the subforum as I don't take part in online racing series. I usually come on at random so I'm not sure if I'll join in or not.
