PCS is open to all, all I ask is that you are clean, race properly and obey the rules.

I'm looking for clean, competent, & conscientious drivers, to join me for weekly races on chosen nights . The same car races I host are gentlemanly & competitive, but above all else fun, we use a different car each week, & it's chosen from the arcade list. If you're interested & can attend at least once a month, make a post (saying you've read all the Rules & Regs), & send a friend request on Xbox live to: hennessey861, with "PCS" in the message.

PCS Rules & Regulations

THIS IS THE NUMBER 1 RULE: All drivers must visit this thread each week to check for Race Event/Rule updates, & are solely responsible for reading, understanding, & applying them! If you have difficulty comprehending something, make a post here or PM me before Saturday, & I will do my best to help you.

Free Practice
You must practice online beforehand, with the right car, & on all tracks listed for the next event.
Please set up your own Lounge identical to how PCS is, you will find the settings we use below.

Qualification
As there is no qualification method on Forza the starting grid will be set to lobby points, so the better you do in the races the higher your grid position will be

Races 1
No deliberate contact, corner cutting, or using of run off areas to gain an advantage.
Damage is on SIM, so be very careful at all times, as cars will never ghost.
Apologise for any contact (during breaks), deal with unresolved matters via PM, after the event.
Do not judge other drivers as dirty who accidentally hit you, cut corners, or go off track occasionally.

You must make at least 1 during the race , it is absolutely mandatory!
You must complete 1 quarter race distance before pitting, unless you are damaged or have damaged another.
Pitting because of damage before 1 quarter race distance, does count as your 1 mandatory pit stop.

Damage

As damage is set to sim at PCS, be careful. If you hit another driver & their car gets damaged, you must immediately let them regain their place ahead of you, follow them closely back to the pits, pit with them, & then carry on racing. Damaged drivers with medium to heavy damage must pit (unless it's the last lap) & indicate they're damaged to the offending driver by slowly steering left & right ASAP, drivers with light damage may choose to either continue racing, or pit.
If you hit another driver off track, or off their racing line, & their car doesn't get damaged (ie: they don't indicate), you must immediately let them regain their place or line ahead of you, & not try to gain a positional advantage from it going into the next turn or down the next straight.
Drivers with medium to heavy self inflicted damage who's pace is affected, must get out of the way of those approaching from behind on the current lap, & drivers with heavy damage must pit ASAP, if they can see they will continue to be overtaken for the rest of the race. Drivers with light self inflicted damage who's pace is not affected, may choose to either continue racing, or pit.

Race Specifics

Any exceptions to these rules will be posted in: Exceptions To Race Specifics, under tracks listed for the next event.
Try to keep 2 wheels on track, the track is defined as the tarmac road area in between the white/yellow lines that are painted along its outer edges. Coloured kerbs: red & white, black & white, blue & green etc, are not part of the track, so all 4 wheels deliberately on them is not allowed (2 is okay).
White/yellow lines that run along the outer edges of the tarmac, marks the track boundary, so all 4 wheels deliberately over them is not allowed. Painted: green/blue etc, or unpainted concrete/tarmac areas next to white/yellow lines & coloured kerbs, are not part of the track, these are run off areas, do not use them.
If you accidentally go off track & onto a run off area (or the grass/sand) you must make your way back to the track ASAP, without hindering other drivers, or trying to gain a positional advantage from it going into the next turn or down the next straight.

Anyone breaking the above rules (or driving incompetently) may be asked to leave the lobby, re-read them, & try again next time. Anyone who is not apologetic & cooperative after causing an incident, will not be invited to future events. If any circumstances occur out on track that the rules do not cover, just use common sense, courtesy, & best judgement.

About PCS

The Production Car Series is about the sheer joy of driving & racing untuned cars, mainly on real world tracks, with all their little idiosyncrasies & full character on display. Couple that with the fact you'll be racing them against the cleanest drivers out there, & it becomes an utterly exhilarating experience unlike no other. You'll find yourself digging deep within your bag of talent as you not only fight your competition out on track, but also fight the very nature of the car, which is just waiting for you to make the tiniest of errors so it can bite you in the ass!

not one hit so for wow

A lot of members of this site, including me, are in the FPM club and our weekly club race is usually around that time....that could be part of the reason for the lack of responses. You also have lots of members of this site, for whatever reasons, don't really like to commit to a weekly race series...maybe because of work or family obligations. Then you have those that don't think their skills are good enough to be competitive in something like this. Just my 2 cents.

Your right but I am hopeful of attracting maybe eight to get me started. I would be up for discussing a day change if a lot of people can't do Saturdays

Sounds kind of complicated and difficult to enforce, but i am down to try it if it fills up with some people. Will send you a friend request so we can meet up. I think attacking the open lobby system with a friend or two is the best way to ensure a cleanish race. Having back up to take out/on others is the only way to get respect out their it seems. They must fear you or your group as a whole.

well hopefully we can get a few more drivers, add me on xbox live and as soon as I get enough drivers we will have a test night

I'll take part on the days I'm free from other obligations, providing Turn 10 patches the online problems soon.

You can count me in. It sounds fun. You should also think about posting it in the FPM page to see if you could get more interest.

Im on Central Time so if my math is correct GMT is 5 hours fast...Sooooo....6pm is 1pm for me correct...If so I might be able to get into it

Triple post FTW^ Anyway I won't be able to make this weekend. Flying to Atlanta for business.

So
Free Practice
You must practice online beforehand, with the right car, & on all tracks listed for the next event.

How will you know? I feel I'm quite courteous when racing.:)

And
Pit Stops In Race 2
You must make at least 1 during race 2, it is absolutely mandatory!
You must complete 1 quarter race distance before pitting, unless you are damaged or have damaged another.
Pitting because of damage before 1 quarter race distance, does count as your 1 mandatory pit stop.

If 10 laps is on for race 2 what is the minimum lat you can pit? Lap 2 or 3?

So, room opens in eight minutes, or in an hour and eight minutes? Damn DST is confusing me.

Well I had fun in the one race I was able to finish. The network gremlins attacked me again in the 2nd race! You guys all disappeared and I was left all alone to finish in 1st! :odd: I would think this wouldn't happen with only 5 of us in the lobby! Turn 10 needs to release the patch to fix this ASAP! 🤬

That last race was weird. We were racing it out, and then the game locked up. Oh well, I got one!

DTM night this weekend chaps

I cant make it this week because of work. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the title update to be released soon....the network problems were pretty bad last week with just 4 or 5 of us.

Are we going to run DTM for all the races, or are we going to switch it up again?
