It's releaseday!!! Please check the OP for downloadlinks, FAQ and a releasetrailer.
Thanks for all your hard work. Silly question from a PC gaming noob. I don't have SweetFX on my PC, are all the files I need contained in your package or do I need to download something else for the SweetFX to take effect?

Everything is included, nothing else needed.

I have only one complaint about Project Carmen...it did not reduce my laptimes at all:D The difference is amazing:eek::eek: It has the level of clarity and crispness I thought was possible with this whizbang pc of mine but wasn't able to achieve on my own. I'm using the sunny package and it looks so good it's like a whole new game. Thanks @G.T.Ace:tup:👍

I did have one issue with the glare, it was too much at first, and solved it just by turning down the glare quality, which seems more like an intensity as opposed to a quality slider:odd:

I cannot speak about FPS hits, I'm locked at 60fps with VSync which is relatively easy for me to achieve.

If you're experiencing issues after today's update, please re-install the mod.
The patch overwrites some necessary files.

EDIT:
Regarding darkness issues, some people report: It seems to be different on every monitor.
There's a brightness setting in the PP's .ini file, almost at the bottom. Change the value to 1.2 or 1.4 if it's too dark for you.

Are you going to take another look at Project Carmen after this update?

- Filter Add-On Pack I -

This is my first filter add-on for the mod, containing of 4 new post-processing filters.
These filters are mostly changing brightness and glare, I plan to make some more artistic stuff in the future.

- Alternative 1 is basically the same as the default config, but adds a bit more brightness.

- Alternative 2 adds more brightness, but also has a different glare and other tweaks.

- Soft, as the name suggests, makes the image softer and adds more bloom.

- Soft "CM" is based on the Soft setting, but slightly mimics the style, of a certain british developer.

I attempted this, it wouldn't let me edit anything?

That's Bloody Impressive work , followed the Instructions carefully , an it's a really great overal improvement . Running with v1.1+ No Issues

Running v2 and the difference to the default game is amazing. Great job.

However, not sure about anyone else but some textures have turned blurry when on the default game they were visible. Mainly sponsor lettering on cars and billboards. Did I mess the install up or is there a setting I could change to sharpen it up a little?

I think I would prefer to see some more blurriness for distant objects, especially the foliage compared to what the default game currently has. Are you also seeing that leaves on distant trees are more blurry? If so, I would really be very likely to try mod sooner than later. I've noticed at the Nurb that there just seems to be too much sharpness in distant tree leaves....making the depth of field seem un-natural.

Could you provide a screenshot? The overall image should be slightly sharper, without ruining the image quality.

Just try it man! :P I think you'll like the difference compared to the standard game.

Okay, that's weird. Try turning SweetFX off and on with ScrollLock.
The scroll lock wont work either. What I thinks happened is when downloading the mod (happened when just trying to download SweetFX before) is Norton (anti virus) deleted a couple of files regarding the controls of SweetFX.

Edit: Got SweetFX working but still got texture issues. Going to do a fresh install of the mod on a clean game to see if the jagged edges fix itself.

Edit 2:

This is what I'm seeing now.

The mod cannot really help with aliasing. That's more an issue with the game's engine and also depends on your GPU, settings, driver settings and resolution.

Ah ok, bit of a pc noob at the moment so still learning. Great job on the mod and thanks for being so helpful 👍

What monitor are you using?

At the moment I'm running a LG 1080p TV that was given to me by a family member 1-2 years ago. Could this be the cause of the problem?
