OMG what an eye! How do you see these stuff, people?!?
I have a ps4 pro too and didn't notice that.
But I think this is nitpicking right?! Is it a deal breaker for you?!
I had it as well and it was moving. This was qualifying at one point on a race on Wednesday.

Not a deal breaker, but a mild annoyance. I love the game and just want it to be even better :)
And it‘s easy to spot in motion if you‘re sitting 60 cm away from the screen.

Are the leaderboards suppose to work like they work on PS4?? There's absolutely no criteria, all cars put together in one leaderboard, loading screen before race says something like: Vehicle world record, and Friend best time. None of it is true, because it shows overall world record, an overall best time of friend, these lap times have nothing to do with the car I am driving.

Also my national flag on drivers list changes every time I race, either online and offline.

Yes, but it’s not all vehicles together. There are a number of sub categories. Open Wheel, LMP, GT, Touring, Road and Stockcar I believe. It’s not ideal and it has been talked about a lot. SMS have said it’s a technical/hardware limitation with the consoles.

So how do us console users download tunes, PC owners goto time trials select the car and download from there. What have SMS put in for us to download tunes as that way clearly does not work?

Crashed on track, so pushed retire to pits, but after that I can't drive. Every time I leave pits there is a message "retiring insuficient progress and clock count from 20 secons to 0. Ahter that I returned to pits. What is the problem?

You have to hope the car you are looking for has a time posted.

The game is still basically broken on xbox. My save game has deleted itself, all stats are there but no career saved. 51 hours of racing.....gone. Several xbox users have suffered this bug, sms can’t replicate the issue so they can’t even fix it. They hoped that patch 3.0 was going to address the issue but still sadly not, i see many players now wont do a career mode for fear that at some point, it will delete itself. Absolutely fuming that its happened as its alot of wasted time. Such a basic and yet key feature of the game !

Is it possible to backup game saves on XBox?

Odd bug last night playing on Brands Hatch in the BAC car. I was on slicks on a warm track but the tyres would not heat up. I was the only player affected. I was sliding around with fronts stuck at about 50c and rears hovering around 40c. Very odd.

I played the game for a bit today (latest update/version, PS4) and drove
the Azure road track. I had the wipers on for the entire drive, functioning as
normal, but when watching the replay afterwards however.. the wipers didn't move at all.
Seems like a bug of some kind.

Apparently not, cant play career again until they sort it. It seems that everyone who has had their career deleted were doing the gt3 world championship. The devs are currently looking into it, really hope its sorted in next patch.
I have read about a workaround for the Xbox career delete problem. You make two career profiles use one as your main with all your progress and before you sign out for the night switch over to your throwaway career. If it deletes your career it will be your throwaway one and not your real one.

I hope this makes sense and I have no idea if it works, as I play on the PS4 LOL, but it is worth a try

Thanks, i did know about it. However it works for some, but some are still having the issue with that workaround.

Pitlane speeding penalty doesn't switch off with track limits.

And Pitlane speeding penalty is retarded too. Instant dsq for entering too fast? What form of real world motor sport is this trying to simulate? There are none I know of that have this penalty. Stupid design decision that was. Along with spinning in the pitlane being instant dsq too.

Sounds like the live track bug where people get different track conditions for the same race. It's not fixed even though sms claim it has been. I literally quit a serious league or continually getting this issue (and a similar one). In that respect, a literal game breaker because you can't ever compete seriously and fairly, reducing Pc2 from "sim" to "casual game". :(

i've had the instant race ending pitlane penalty as well as 5 seconds added for normal cornering. Not even track limits, but I was pinged. It's been a good while since I've turned penalties off.

I did my searching and found only one post on this from a few months back on the official PC2 Xbox forum. I’m on PS4 Slim amd have the same issue. The Ginetta Jr does not want to leave the pit garage without having some sort of crisis. That is it can’t seem to get out in to the pit lane properly without crashing in to the wall multiple times. By then the car is banged up and if I’m lucky it will still have a hood attached. I just got this game for Christmas so I haven’t put much time in to it yet but my goodness. I was in career mode and not sure if it happens anywhere else in the game.

Edit: shoot I forgot to add it happens at Knockhill.

Game is crashing when I try to take a photo. None of the options work as well. That's odd because they were working properly some days ago.

After 3.03 update on pa4 withbt300 the game randomly crashed every few hours. Super frustrating. I'm gonna shelf it for a while I think :banghead:

I didn't go through the entire thread so I don't know if it's already reported

FFB setup values differ if setting from different side of selected number.
Means if you select value 50 from 49 it's setting different actual value than setting 50 from 51.
Also changing values from mapped keys aren't transferred to setup menus.
Oh and HUD values are also different to above..

How about a more detailed explanation. Are we talking a difference of 10 or higher per value? Or just 2 value?

Example does value from 50 to 51 , now does the 51 feel or equal to 60, 65 or higher? or lower?

Same for the other side.

There's hidden decimal, coming below it leaves bit under target number and if coming above it leaves bit higher target number.
And let's use 44 as target number, then it's same which I have now frequently tested it. It's major clipping point on my FFB setup, if I'm having 44+ it's disaster to feel tail, and if it's 44- then it's prefect to drive.
(It might be also full number? But assumption at it's hidden decimal, not just null number change)

I encounter these lines of artefacts on the right and bottom edge of the screen that seem to falsely display visual information from another part of the screen.

These are most obvious/disturbing in cockpit view. Since they appear on the right and bottom side, I have a hinch it has something to do with dynamic resolution switching. They get worse as soon as motion blur is involved.

You can actually observe these artifacts in motion by watching this video from popular YouTuber @Scaff:

Same here. 99% of the time is in cockpit camera, but this in the attached pic is way worse than the usual. I've tried on a 2017 4k TV and then on a monitor (1080p), both calibrated.

Would you like to show us this hidden decimal perhaps?

The Bronco Brocky!!!

So, as a 4x4 enthusiast, I'm very excited about this new DLC. I've been having a lot of fun with it, but I've just been trying to tame the plowing front end of the Bronco Brocky. I own a Jeep CJ-7 that's been heavily modified for off road use. One such modification: Electronically selectable spools, in both front and rear axles. They're called Eaton E-lockers. Once I press the buttons on the dash, my front and rear differentials become spools. What ever my left tires do, my right tires do. Turning corners with my E-Lockers engaged is almost impossible on dry pavement. And it's even difficult to turn on loose surfaces. But when you get into mud or soft sand - Watch out!!! Hammer down in a straight line and I'm coming through.

Prior to the current axles I now have, I had front and rear axles equipped with Powertrax Lock Right lockers. Lock Right lockers are the Ratcheting Limited Slip Differentials that are described in the game. These will slip only when there's no acceleration or deceleration force on them - basically, if you don't want your tires going "chirp, chirp, chirp" when turning in a parking lot, you put your clutch in before turning and let the differential go "click, click, click, click" until you complete the corner. It's quite loud, and most unknowing folks at a shopping mall think your Jeep is broken.

So this is a long winded effort to make a point. I think the Bronco Brocky is Bronco Broken. I kept adjusting the front limited slip differential to try and put more slip into it. But it just kept plowing like the front axle was locked - like it had the spool turned ON. I tried viscous settings, fewer clutches, higher/lower preloads, nothing seemed to work like I expected it to. So, for schnitts and giggles, I turned the spool on. Wouldn't you know it, the Brocky started driving like it had an open front differential.

Long way to the point, I know. I just wanted to show that I have some personal experience, as well as education on the matter.

I think the Brocky has the front spool turned ON, when it says OFF, and it's OFF, when it says ON. Oh, PS4. That's an important aspect.

Actually, @IanBell , I should have prefaced this by saying how much I LOVE driving the Brocky!!! Especially in one make races at Lankebanen Rallycross. Oh, what the hell, I love driving it through Hell! The suspension and traction is just so well done. PCARS 2 wasn't supposed to be a cutting edge rally game to my knowledge, but man, the rally portion of the game is just
so good. Then you throw on top of that - a rock-climber/trophy truck/trail-runner/buggy like the Brocky - oh, a truck that really exists and was inspired and created by Vaughn Gittin Jr. - and it really drives like I'd expect it would? It's pretty dog-gone cool! I'm loving the rest of the DLC as well. So please, don't take my post as a criticism at all, just something to have the devs look into. I love this new DLC. Can't wait for the next one.

Good info, you should report it on the official forums if you haven't already. The devs do like to hear feedback if it is done in a calm manner
